lol i remember when this game came out super fun and not racist. The memes and parodies about it were incredibly racist though. That really made mainstream discourse about the game unfortunately deem it as “racist”. Even happens with media today sadly. Instead of rejecting the shitheads who make the racist content, they attack the medium itself, which always ends up being counterproductive
I played RE5 so many times and I NEVER found any of it Racist. After 4 Mainline games of us killing White zombies we get 1 set in africa and now people wanna pretend it's racist because we get ONE games where we shoot black zombies instead 🫠

Its so bad that its boring. its so bad that they changed the series after that. So much action that nothing have relevance. If everything is adrenaline nothing is adrenaline. You need more references, thats all. But if you like it, just enjoy it.
uh, I think you missed the part where you are fighting a bunch of spear throwing abiriginals. Now hold on a second, you may think "Well there are some people in Africa who still wear tribal cloths" Not here. The game explicitly states they where average citizens who uppon the virus devolving them started dressing in tribal. Now, I think we can all agree that unevolved equating to tribal africans is pretty damn racists and lines up really closely to colonial racist depictions of tribal africans and their justifications for enslaving them. The RE developers even said their inspiration was Black Hawk Down. The horror was literally just supposed to be about being swarmed by 3rd world black people
