I had 330e and now I have is300h . Both cars are amazing. If you want sport over everything, get a Bmw. Petrol economy, comfort and many more get the Lexus. I think Lexus has everything you need! BMW is just more fun to drive !
I have 2020 IS 300h, bought it new and never had a problem with it, really love the car and Lexus brand. My wife has NX 300h but I very much prefer driving my IS. If I ever change, it would be Alfa Romeo Giulia, probably not nearly as reliable as the Lexus but lots of fun to drive. BMW is just too common, you see them on every corner these days and it kinda kills a premium feel to it.
Nice one. Not keen on the white of the Lexus but would still pick that over the BMW. Something about the headlight on new BMWs that always bugs me somehow :)
If I get the chance to get a hold of a GTE I can :) I used to own the Mk7 GTD which was a great handling economical car. The IS has loads of gadgets and it is £10 road tax.

thinking of trading in my 328 2014 for a 2108 IS...have to add about 14k CAD ...I own a GX which is incredible. I must admit though that nothing rides better than a 3 series.
That is a tough decision!! The IS is a great vehicle, however it is not as solid feeling as the BMW. The 2018 model should require less maintenance (I would think). Would you consider going a size up to a 5 series or ES/GS for a better ride? My mum had a F10 5 series years ago and I remember that riding well. The larger cars are usually more comfortable.
@@CarsofGlasgow The dealer only gave me 15k CAD as a trade in so I passed...My 328 X drive only has 75k kms on it and the turbo was changed completely when I purchased the lease. I decided to keep it and not go for the switch. I like the Lexus IS, but it does not ride nearly as well as the BMW although much more reliable. Been lucky so far with no big repaiirs . Maybe Ill wait a year and hopefully no big repairs.
Had a Lexus is for 4 years now
The car is now 8 years old, getting at least 60mpg, cheap to run and trouble free
they are honestly a dream to own, if maintained :D

The Lexus IS is way better; more confortable, superb ride, fuel economy and very reliable. Never regret selling my 330d for an Lexus IS.

Why didn't you drive the lexus on the motorway for comparison? We couldnt hear a thing you were saying when you drove the bmw.
Apologies, I can do it like for like on the next comparison. The BMW has a louder interior cabin noise over the Lexus.
