Loved the video and the new intro Todd. Great detailed images with this camera in the outdoors. Great advice as well. Thanks!

Several indications give me the idea you are from an area where I am. Would you happen to live in Rutherford County, Tennessee or near there?

Does it always has distortion? For landscape at 15mm for example, will i notice them ? I told you before that i am JPEG fan, really dont know between canon 10-18 and tamron 11-16 . btw you are really nice mate! wish you all the best!

Hey Cosmin! 👋 It doesn't have distortion with curved lines but it has the typical wide lens distortion where everything that comes closer to the lens is stretched on the edges. So if you're standing in the center of the frame and put your hand out to touch the lens, your fingers will look 5 feet long. 😂 As you zoom in it becomes less and less. My biggest problem with this lens is it's aperture. It's very dark. In full sunlight it's not an issue but you won't be shooting a moving subject at sunset.

@@iamToddNorris so like u said in the video, is good for landscape :) you find it sharp to the edges or just sharp? Btw mate i really appreciate your devotion. Have you ever thought to coach 1:1 ? 😂😅 i ll be your first student

@@cosmindanes9435 Thanks man, I appreciate you. But my life's so crazy busy right now I'm behind on my videos. Eventually I'll do some coaching / teaching and yes, the 10-18 is sharp and good for landscapes. 👍

@@cosmindanes9435 with any wide angle lens you're going to have to pay attention to the edge of the frame. If something is closer it's going to get stretched. The further away your subject is, the less dramatic the effect. But you'll definitely notice it when your framing your shot. Just be ware and make the appropriate changes to your composition.
