Cedar Avenue - Between Division Street and Amity Street facing Division Street.
Patchogue, NY 11772
Directions - Take the Long Island Expressway to Exit 63 (North Ocean Avenue, Route 83). Proceed south on North Ocean Avenue - which becomes South Ocean Avenue. Go over the railroad tracks to Division Street. Go right on Division Street for one block to Cedar Avenue. Take a left on Cedar Avenue.
Just passed today! For whoever is going to take the test here, DO NOT be nervous!! The location is extremely easy, just know the basic rules for the all-way stop signs since you will be taken through a residential area. Also, remember to pull into the intersection at a green light and wait close to the center for oncoming vehicles to pass and go when it is safe to do so. Also remember to check blindspots when turning or changing lanes.

Not Exact this is just an example of the site roads and place expectations. Everyone prefers different route
Took it and passed today, it is really quick and not all of the examiners are strict. The first one I had a strict guy and he really intimidated me, however the second time I had a really chill lady so it's honestly a hit or miss. The first two turns are exactly the same, both times I had to turn that first left after the light do a parallel park and three point turn.
Took my road test here today! My tester (lady with glasses) was SOOO SWEET! It's an easy spot, so dont be nervous! 🥰 u got this!

Passed it my first time. Very easy, the examiners were decent. Biggest tip is do not forget to use your signal. The test itself only lasted 3 minutes, it was very quick.

@@K1_xsctci not the exact same, it really depends on examiner, it’s pretty similar though. The first 2 turns are the same though, straight, make the left, then the second left at the light.

for anyone here wondering if they should do this test site. Do it. Both instructors (male and female) were EXTREMELY nice. I took my test 2 times before this at brentwood and failed both. I was very nervous here because it was a new test site so i didn’t know what to expect. I didn’t even visit the site beforehand to get a feel of the place. But the second i started driving it felt really easy

@@AK1892 i had one woman with curly hair & another woman. the first was really nasty, the 2nd was just kinda strict. this video is only correct for the first 2 turns lol but i guess it just depends on what the instructor feels

If I may ask, did you have to stop twice for stop signs? I know the video states that we have to but I'm hearing from others who passed that they didn't.
Nadeshiko Nope. You stop once from cedar. Patchogue is very very very easy. A lot of speed bumps so you will probably be staying at around 15 mph too.

Took mine yesterday and passed on my first go! Highly recommend taking it in Patchogue, in my opinion it was easy.
Hey girl I’m going tmmrw morning! Is the route the same one the guy shows and are the streets very narrow to park. I’m scared about parallel parking and hitting the curb
@@cws4465 It’s not exactly the same, the first two left turns are the same. The road that my instructor took me to do my parallel parking on gave me enough space to be able to do it perfect. She took me to another block to do my 3 - point- turn and there was enough room as well.
@@cws4465 so all in all it honestly all depends on the instructor and where they take you. But most of the roads I went on weren’t a problem. Like the way the video looked it made the roads look so tight. I felt like I had ample enough room when driving. Also I went in the morning, not a lot of people on the road so it makes you less nervous doing the parallel parking.
Thank you so much! The intersection scares me a little especially if there’s traffic. My test is 11:45 so its like late morning almost afternoon. Would you say the speed you should do is 25 or can I go a little lower? Or anything I should worry about?
@@cws4465 I ended my test around that time, it was pretty slow out. Don’t be nervous at that intersection, one tip I can give..you wanna make sure that if there are cars coming, you wait til one is like block length from you before you turn. (That’s what my teacher told me before my test) Because they will take points off, or even fail you if they feel that the car passing was close when turning. Worse come to shove if you have to wait for the cars to pass eventually the light will turn red and you can just turn. Now the speed limit around there is 30mph. I stayed to 25mph on that main road and in the neighborhood.

@@JONADAX usually the same route, do visit the location and drive within streets , I parked the car within 5 minutes of driving, watching video helps a lot. My test was a clear pass

So at all way stops, you stop only once; and regular stop signs you stop twice? I just failed at centereach and taking it again here in a few days.
You stop twice because you first want to get a better view of incoming traffic and be sure to lean forward on your seat as you scan the aérea on the second stop

Did you pass that one? That’s known as one of the hardest sites on the island.

And Allah ka shukar I passed the test today the location is super easy, must visit it before the test, and definitely this video helped me to be familiar with the roads and signs. Just be careful with stop sign, and will recommend others to take the test here. Good luck to those who have it now.

Usually, speed limit is 30 but try to keep between suggested speed 24-28

This could have been a great video to show viewers “Patchogue” NY. Keep in mind that you spelled Patchogue wrong in your video and unfortunately we saw less of Patchogue and more of the sky and tree tops in your video. Keep it up I see potential in your videos as you continue.

I am SO SORRY THAT THIS IS THE ONLY PATCHOGUE Video because all you can see only from the camera is THE SKY. VERY BAD VIDEO. Plus whoever is talking; you don't understand what he is saying. I WISH SOMEONE ELSE MADE MORE PATCHOGUE VIDEOS ROAD TESTS.

Took the road test here and it’s pretty much the same as the video showed. Make sure you are actively looking left and right. I explored the neighborhood the day before just to ease my anxiety. My instructor did make me parallel park and do the 3 point turn.

Usually less than 10 min they are fair
