  • In this video, we discuss what happens when you unmask a covert narcissist (Hint: It's not pretty). You'll learn about what not to do to a narcissist and what you should do instead when dealing with a covert narcissist at home, at work or anywhere in your life.
A covert narcissist can be tricky to spot at first. They are sometimes known as closet narcissists because they can appear timid and shy at first. They use these tactics to lure their victims in. They know that the victim will run if they act aggressively and honestly right from the beginning. Covert narcissism can be confusing to some because covert narcissists have a higher chance of becoming depressed, developing high levels of anxiety, and problems with self-esteem. These issues are usually the opposite of what people think about narcissists and that can make them so much harder to identify. But what happens when you unmask a covert narcissist? More importantly, what should you not do when you have made this horrifying discovery? It may have taken a long time to make this discovery and now, after some time, you feel hurt and confused. We understand your pain. So raise the volume and relax. We want you to watch all the way through to the end for some great tips on handling the unmasking of a covert narcissist.

It's not 'irrational' to get angry at a covert narc, or call them out re their lying etc. But of course that is not 'socially acceptable' in this society, and the visibly upset, loud, angry person looks immediately like the bad guy. The covert narc is sly enough to remain 'calm and cool' and will use your being upset with them against you.

The trick is for you to stay calm and cool, knowing their tricks.
This will make them act irrationally because in this dynamic one person will be rational and the other irrational. You can choose to be the calm one.

Among us Meme is so true and thats what really grosses me out its also very anti male given males tend to be more expressive with aggression whether it be basic rough housing(a bonding experience) to simply breaking objects to let off some steam. Females have often hidden their monkey brain narcissism and insecurities behind manipulation and conflict avoidance with reputation destruction.

I’m not afraid to un mask anyone or call them out immediately! I think too many people Don’t do this and that’s how the abuse continues for years. So what if they throw a 2 year old tantrum. That’s on them - definitely not on me. They sniff out folks that won’t fight back. I guess I don’t have a problem standing up to these passive aggressive bullies !

VERY SMART!! I always told my hubby the reason his “mothrr” got away w/ SO MUCH BULLSH- and mean, cruel, ridiculous behavior was because neither his so called “dad” and other 3 brothers let herbe herr horrible self all the time. They PRA 7:30 excused her, gave up on her & just allowed it all‼️They just poo-pooed al her awful, intentional, nasty ways constantly !!! It was insane ! On the other hand, guess they had long before I came along given up....and I could see why. OMG!!! She was a trouble maker, a fruitcake, but worst of all.... a very, mean, jealous demonic monster. I could not stand her evilness👹 especially when she targeted my oldest daughter👺 and tried her best to get the girls tobe “at each other” BUT LO & BEHOLD the girls were very aware of her evil plansl. Afterall, they saw plenty of her devious manipulations😏. They even noticed when they were quite young. We waited til they were near their teens to let the bull out in the open. Before then we sort of “protected” the old decrepid witch. She was so obviously wicked we quit’covering’ for her. We would tell the gils to directly ask her why she did or said such & such. It helped. Eventually it got soooooredundantly ridiculous we went total NO CONTACT‼️ Heaven on earth🥰☮️ for a good 20 years before they left earth😶 No feelings, no emotions,. My husband had never had a connection w/ his folks. Neither did his older brother....strangest group I had ever encountered🙃At least my hubby had detached at a very early age and never looked back😌 Therefore he became a wonderful manwho showed noresemblance🙂 to these religious , sick mminded kooks‼️There was truly no sense of loss, for they never showed love or concern of any kind....just EVIL.IBelieve it or not she is not the worst one I have encountered👹My advice....you meet one YOU RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN‼️ God has saved me literally from death due to narcs who wanted me DEAD‼️‼️😡 The stories I can tell (all TRUE) could scare anyone💀 Be aware & Be very dicerning🥴 Lean on the LORD😌🥰 PRAY & READ GOD”S WORD< THE BIBLE🥰❣️

Covert Narcissists are very dangerous. A covert Narcissist, will collect data on you and use it to embarrass you. Or they will call you boss, to get you fired. They'll ruin baby shower's and holidays. Seen them fake and illness, to get you to run over to take care of them. One of the worst is Bernie Madoff or Sam Bankman Fried. They believe they are smarter than you and if you lose you money or stuff to them, you deserve it.

Different between a narc and a person behaving badly is the narc is well aware of what they doing and doesn’t want to change a person behaving badly may not even be aware to a point and sometimes when confronted about it they legitimately feel bad and want to do something about it
