Now that you have some time on it, any thoughts? Have you adjusted the timer? I recieved a Malibu carbon, has blisters in one wing, waiting for replacement. Oh man, i hate waiting!
They are a challenge due to small size. The right micro electronics are critical to succeed, mostly servos and receiver. Also, remove receiver case to fit. Watching good build videos like this helps... ruclips.net/video/4lvzdcbtwNk/видео.htmlsi=sUapJIMFtOwEuqUm
I think you only need five channels. Not 100% sure tho. There's only four servos plugged into the receiver. For rudder, elevator and separate aileron servos. But the transmitter uses the throttle channel to mix in camber. Nothing is plugged into the throttle on the receiver, so do you five channel receiver? Idk Also, snap flap is not a separate channel, just a mixing of camber and elevator... Great question tho
@@michael88997 I can tell you this, the fit, finish and performance of this DLG is very impressive. I can't speak on the Hawk, but the Toro is everything I hoped for...
Been looking around for a good dlg, been wondering about Mini Dart 2 , Toro and Malibu Pro which I've selected but am trying to go with one. My question is which glider should I get and which glider has the best flight envelope, Texas gets kinda windy.
Did I hear you mention Northfield? It kinda looks like Minnesota to me! Nice flying, buddy.
Thank you. I said I was flying in my north field. On thirty acres, we have woods, two pastures and two hayfields. I'm in Northern Wisconsin...
Good to see more people enjoying this little beast dlg. I love my Toro.
I'm 67 back in my day we would have called that a 1/2 A racer powered by an 049 and just elevator and ailerons and just elevator and ailerons.

Looks great, I wanna get m a DLG....... is 1m ok, or should I have to spend the dough and get me a full 1.5m model???
@ozjohnno The one meter DLG's fly amazing. A little easier on the budget too...
I have really battled to build my minidart2 . Difficult

Ive built Dlgs for over 10 years now, and to be honest I still couldnt make one like yours.. It really takes a craftsman to make one, not a modeller..
Thank you so much! It's why I share what I do. I really believe with the right information and a lot of try others can do it...
Great fun fly to the moon air2 s army out
Do you need a 6 channel receiver to use camber and snap flap?

Dear Santa😊
Way to go. Looks awesome
Thank you 👊
How long did delivery take?
I think it was one to two weeks, no more than that...
@@chilly7261 awesome I’m trying to decide between this and the Hawk, leaning this way!

I am very impressed with the flight envelope. Got all good to say about this bird. Great small field flyer, and at the same time very capable...
