Surfing is improving lives all over Africa, but allow us to pull your attention to Liberia right now. Here at Mami Wata, we’re extremely proud of the work we’ve done in support of the Liberian surfing community. A few years back we ran a very successful Kickstarter to raise funds to build the Harper Sliders Surf Club House building, in Harper Liberia. This premises on the beach houses and supports the work of the Waves for Change surf therapy program in the town. And last year, we created our Robertsport Surf Club range to raise funds for the Harper Sliders to train up the Robertsport Surf Club coaches to deliver surf therapy through their club.
