I love this scene! Maverick doing the impossible: proving everyone wrong, and Rooster realizing that Maverick's actually an incredible pilot, seeing the accident in his father's death. Perfect cinematics right there!

A film score is not part of a soundtrack album. A soundtrack is all the songs in the film. A film score is all the sounds that do not include the songs and dialogue. Therefore the above part of the score was not released on the soundtrack.

Because they had to put those shitty song from Gaga and OneRepublic instead to fit in a CD Lenght.
And of course, because when they are done selling this incomplete version of the soundtrack, they'll release a "Complete soundtrack release" for us to buy again.

@@guts-141 there's a lot of music missing in the CD. There's not even one single reference to the Goose Theme (from the first movie) that is also used in this sequel in some moments. The released CD is pretty poor.
Happily RUclips channels like this one help a little bit.
