This is the best tutorial I have ever seen on RUclips. No repetition, no telling me about your cat or how you discovered this Revolutionary Technique, no ads, just straight at it. Perfect
Glad you liked it! Do check out my other RUclips videos, here or at photoshop.london
Same here, he is amazing!
I'm so glad I found this video. I've been looking for a way to get the little detail swirls and texture to make my projects seem more wood-like. Simple and easy to follow along with.
I've just discovered your channel and I am stunned by your amazing work! Simple, quick, yet the most effective videos I'seen so far! Thank you so much!
Amazing! Thank you so much! I love how fast and to the point you were. I hate 15 minute long tutorials that can be done in 2 minutes
Me too. Best to cut out all the "hey, guys, how's it going".
If this isn't working the way you expect it to at 1:24 in, be sure you use wraparound and not repeat edge pixels in the undefined areas.
Excellent point, Brandy! Thank you!
Thank you! This was the point where I got stuck. :D
It's impressive how quick and didactic tutorials lead to very precise progress. I signed up already! Congratulations, it was what I needed.
Thank you for this straightforward tutorial. It was EXCELLENT.
Many of these tools I've used previously to create wood grain textures, but this combination was so simple and effective. Thank you for sharing!
thanks, I was searching for a particular wood texture but it seems easier to do it by myself ^^.
Really good tutorial very clear and straight to the point thank you.

You're welcome. Keep watching.
Great.. great... great
Brilliant sir :)
I thought it didn't work at first because I have an older version of PS, I thought that "render>clouds" filter fills and overwrite whatever content in a layer so applying noise and THEN clouds made no sense to me. But then I follow the exact steps in the video and IT WORKED! The command "fade clouds" did produce the same effect in my version of the program. I didn't know that the previous effect (noise) is still there, underneath. So cool I've found out one more "hidden" (to me) function in PS! I'm no newbie and I know that you never stop learning. Thank you for this video. 👍
Glad it worked for you! I agree - you never stop learning in Photoshop.
Wow. "For my next trick, I will dodge bullets."

Great tutorial , I wood like to say plank you.
Thanks for this tutorial, It actually helped me making texture for my 3D school Project (づ。◕‿‿◕。)づ
Tried doing this with a selection and it gave it brown thin, alfredo-like lines
omg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then how make hay straw texture bro?
Hi, I can't seem to find the Fade Clouds option under Edit. There's a non-clickable "Fade" option under edit but I can't select it. Is there something I can do about that? Thanks!
You have to choose Fade immediately after applying the filter. If it's greyed out, it's because you did something else in between.
For anyone else having the same issue, I reset preferences and that worked!
It looks seemless. Is it seemless?
No it isn’t, but see here for making seamless textures: ruclips.net/video/e2Y3zcm_sw4/видео.html
Why distort me off.
just google Stodoys plans :))
This time I will do it manually with the help of WoodPrix plans designs.
