  • So if ya looking to install an aftermarket transmission mount or Z1 Motorsports Polyurethane on your 350z/g35. This video will show you how to installed a new transmission mount & includes the torque specs used to complete the job. Replacing this mount is probably the easiest thing one can do on this car!     Thanks for this video. There's not very many videos on RUclips actually showing how to replace the trans mount. I just wanted to see how difficult it would be to determine if I could do this myself. It's pretty simple, so I can do it myself :D

    Followed this tutorial, it was so much easier on my 08 350z. Things were a little different but nonetheless this tutorial was helpful!

    I came looking for filling my transmount. I did this with my 1996 Saturn SC2's dogbones and Hondabond since urethane mount went available. It worked great. Going to fill the new aftermarket mount as I couldn't justify spending $150+ for a urethane mount. I am doing all the suspension parts along with Energy Suspension's rack bushings and differential mounts.

      Lol we come from the same old school techniques brother... but yup thats the way to go... I did my entire suspension with the energy suspension master kit along with the diff bushings... you will not regret it ✨

    I replaced thevfactory shifter with a short throw shifter. That got rid of all the memes that the factory shifter. After replacing I had a great mechanical shifting transmission. The gates were where they were ment to be. Also look at the rum clutch pedal set up. What a night and day difference!!!

    Cool vid. You didn't list the torque specs. But what site can I find the specs? I've been searching but I can't find them or the motor mount specs

      Thanks Man i try🤘 Try here for the torque specs @12:08... and the motor mount video is coming up! Should be up within the next 2 days (editing as we speak) I found a much easier way then most describe as the hardest job around.       Well brother I can say I improved it but third gear notchiness/grind at high rpm still remained... u ready? lol I can also tell you that I tried mt-90 mt-85 combo, straight mt-85, Pennzoil synchromesh (winner), a diff brace, a custom trans mount I made (on my IG), New slave and clutch master w/ Stainless line, and z1 motor mounts. So yea I tried a few things that did improve but right now as we speak I decided to swap out this 160k mile tranny for a new cd00a and light-weight clutch kit so i can finally enjoy her + I heard they starting to discontinue them (New trans) so I had to grab mines 😅 Clutch swap and trans swap video coming soon too🤘

      If interested the biggest things that improved shifting with night and day feels in order was...
      1 z1 motor mounts, 2 Diff brace, 3 Pennzoil fluid 🙌🙏

    I wonder if your transmission issues pertain to the clutch slave cylinder issues. These cars are known for the fluid to degrade over time and from heat. Also, someone from the past may not have properly bled the system

      lol yes brother I've heard about that (CSC) and just responded to another comment on everything I've done since this vid 😅 but in relation to the fluid and heat, the stainless steel line along with Dot 4 fluid definitely helps with that... N spot on with the bleed🏁, I made a vid about that and mentioned the specific way to do so cause I got txt/dm from a few friends when they did their CMC or CSC swap n had issues of not feeling right and I figured, hey let me just make a vid on how to do it properly lol🤟
