    Hi Thomas, I bought some toggle clamps from the internetand when that arrived they were even smaller than the ones you got. That is the only problem with the internet, there was no size on the items and until I actually saw them it was not apparent that they were so small. Never mind I did something similar to you and managed to get them so I could use them.

      Hehe I had something similar but the other way, ordered some small toggle clamps and they came twice as big as the ones I'm using. But in this case it was a bit of a bonus 👍

    Thomas, im only at the very start of my journey so still wet behind the ears. Today i got my MFT top but as for adding extras i could do with some pointers. Im a subscriber but only just got to this 1.Its 2 years old so guessing info is stale now. Any pointers, advice which direction i would appreciate it. If you get time. Thanks.

    Could you tell me the thickness of the threaded rod? I just ordered the clamps on Amazon but they don’t specify the diameter of the rod.

    Maybe change the feet to a block of oak with a threaded insert that will touch the table top
