    Hi!! I have been looking so forward to posting this comment - literally for months now. A most sincere thank you to this group.
    I am writing this from the bed on my new 2021 20BHS, camping tonight at Calhoun AOK Campground in Calhoun, GA. We picked her up today at Northgate RV Center in Ringgold, GA after a 500+ mile drive from NC.
    We started this journey back in august watching YT videos like yours and reading manufacturer websites endlessly. I want you to know that your video series on the 20BHS is the DEFINITIVE training material for owners and should be followed to the letter!!! I bought everything you recommended, right down to the totes from Target for the passthru storage. Forest River should sponsor you to make more of these as they are absolutely the gold standard in my opinion.
    My hat is off to you, and your efforts are MUCH appreciated. Hope to see you down the road!!! Will be watching for more!!

    Nice rig! I’m lovin it! Just a small tip that will probably prevent a huge headache! When grilling outside, don’t attach it to the trailer! Instead use a separate table or the campsite picnic table. I’ve seen multi trailers with fiberglass damage because of the heat and possible flare ups. I hope you and your family enjoy this beautiful trailer!

    for the door being difficult to close, open the door, on the door frame there are two screws on the part that holds the door closed, loosen those screws a little, push that part out slightly, and re-tighten, should fix that problem.

      @vaposhack 3 года назад +2

      I have this model and the same problem. The door strike is too thick and was installed at the extreme end of the adjustment travel. Had to remove the door strike and use a hand file to get it to fit.

    My wife and I have the Murphy bed model (2019) . Two years later- no issues as a couples camper ! Easy to tow - not a big fan of the water miser function but we rarely dry camp . Upgrade tires is a good thing - Single axle so be anal on tire care ! Not cheap but a ton of features for the money ! ENJOY ! 🤗

  • @chrisdooley6721
    @chrisdooley6721 2 года назад +2

    Just know that Forest River has a 1.3 star rating out of 5 with the Better Business Bureau. They make crappy campers that fall apart and then they refuse to pay for any of the repairs. They are pretty flashy in a video, but once the water starts leaking in it takes all the zeros off your investment. Buyer Beware.

    Thanks for this video. We have an E-Pro 20BHS on order for the 2022 season. We spend about 1 month each year in total in our little pop-up camper, so we're looking forward to this upgrade. Like you, we are a family of 4 with bikes. I saw your video showing the loading of two bikes on the tongue mounted bike rack. You mentioned in another video that you were able to get both your kids' bikes in the back storage area with the bunk folded up. I'd love to see a video on that, or just a little more information. We're a biking family and take our bikes everywhere we go. I'm a little concerned that our kids' bikes will not fit in the storage area. They're ages 9 and 11, so their bikes are not little kid sized bikes. Curious if I'll need to mount a hitch receiver on the back (or some other solution) for carrying the other 2 bikes that don't fit on the tongue mount.

    • @thedroesslers
      @thedroesslers  2 года назад +1

      I will try to remember to video tape this the next time we load up. My daughter basically rides an adult bike so it is one large bike and one smaller bike that we are able to fit in there. You need to have the bottom bunk locked in the up position. I put the larger bike in first as far to the middle of the trailer as possible and then put the smaller bike in.

  • @AmyAlanEliHayes

    • @thedroesslers
      @thedroesslers  2 года назад +1

      It has gone pretty well. I try very hard not to pack any more than we need and take it easy when driving. This is the first time I have towed a trailer and safety is my top priority. The width of the trailer (7 feet) allows me to still see around it with my side mirrors while driving and the length (20 feet) makes it easier to maneuver than longer trailers. I did a video on our specific tow vehicle that you can check out here: ruclips.net/video/XaAwXDFOsfo/видео.html

    • @thedroesslers
      @thedroesslers  4 года назад +2

      Thanks Ben. We have been using it almost every weekend for the last 2 months. The only problem we had was that once, the slide out would not go in. We think we lost shore power right when we started putting it in and it got confused. The batteries are enough to open/close it so it should have been fine. We needed to unplug the two motors (left/right) and push the slide out in manually. When we got home, we plugged the motors back and it open/closed just fine. We have had no problems since.
