    Hi Droesslers, I wanted to thank you for your videos. My wife and I just purchased a 2021 Rockwood Geo Pro 20BHS. Your videos have saved us so much time and stress by showing us how to hitch, unhitch, empty the grey and black tanks and how to winterize and de-winterize our camper before ever bringing it home. We’ve never owned a camper before so your videos were so helpful. We actually watched your video on accessories and tools and we used your Amazon links to purchase pretty much everything you recommended. So thank you again for taking the time to share with us your experiences with your camper and teaching us newbies how it all works. Please keep em coming!

    If you could sort out putting the pressure regulator on the far side of the water filter, a low pressure reading could indicate it's time to change your filter. It does not take much to clog those filters with sediment.

    Great video - we just took delivery of an E20BHS and I used a lot of your list for the additional accessories we needed to actually use it. I was looking through the online manual and found in the "Identification and Safety - Tire Safety" section the torque recommendations. Tighten opposite nuts (standard procedure for most any wheel) in three stages: 1) 20-25 ft-lbs, 2) 55-60 ft-lbs, and 3) 85-95 ft-lbs.

    No kidding on the thank yous! I’m a divorced woman and this is my first RV. (Yeah, the Ex would never travel with a camper.)
    The self-serve information from Forrest River is severely lacking and full of caveats about “if your trailer is equipped” like I know. (Why do you think I’m reading the manual?)
    Anyway, your videos are so helpful because they are GeoPro specific. I don’t have the same floor plan, but the systems are the same. So thank you, thank you, thank you!

    • @thedroesslers
      @thedroesslers  3 года назад +1

      I suggest getting both a 15 amp adapter and extension cord if you do not have a 30 amp outlet at home. Or if you plan on camping anywhere you will not have 30 amp service. That way you can plug it into a normal outlet and run everything except for the air conditioning. We do this before going on a trip so we can turn the fridge on and get it cold before traveling.

    • @thedroesslers

      Since the plugs are different, it will allow you to plug in your 30A trailer. I am not sure if it actually does anything to the power coming into the trailer since your trailer won't have anything that would pull more than 30A. It if did, I assume the 30A fuse in the trailer would trip. I hope that helps.

    Got a Proven Industry hitch lock for ours as well. There are video 'test reviews' out there about hitch locks, that one is the only one that couldn't be defeated in less than 15 to 30 seconds, you'll need a cutting torch or serious power tools to get this monster lock off.
    Yes, the bug screens are necessary for sure, including the vent area of the fridge, the same propane smell loving bugs & mud wasps love to get in there as well. The built in water filter system on the 'pros' is a nice touch, and having one of the blue addon filters will help those last longer. They state the filters are good for 10,000 gallons. The only place I've found replacement filters for the system is from Forest River, and it's a real rip off at $25 each plus $25 shipping! As soon as I find replacements somewhere else, I'm done with 'em! www.forestriverelectronics.com/product-p/fre-10-gn.htm
