    Thanks to your video series, I purchased an E-Pro 16BH. All has gone great with your help. I even winterized it myself.

      After watching the cooking griddle video, I seasoned in the unit. Due to wildfires up in the Pacific Northwest, I also added a "Y" at the propane hookup at the side of the trailer and run a propane firepit with a 40' hose. So far, everything on this trailer has been great. A graphic artist at work made me a decal for the back as the trailer is called "Green Eggs and Spam"! Thanks again for all the helpful hints you provided.

    thanks I have a Epro as well and this bike rack and never knew how to use it so I just threw the bikes in the back of the truck but they use up space. This was a big help. Going to try it now because we're going to Caesar Creek State Park this weekend. Thanks this is the 2nd or 3d video of yours I watched because we have the same camper but different model. Thanks again.

    FYI--to get the Jack-It frame over the power jack, we had to take off the power jack plastic cover and disconnect the electric because there was no give in our electric cable. In all, it took my husband and I three hours to install and configure it for our bikes and that's with the expert help of a very handy friend. It was a pain! Question--how do you secure the top part of the frame to the bottom part of the frame? Hose clamps??

    • @thedroesslers
      @thedroesslers  2 года назад

      This came already installed on our camper. I don't know if it was installed at the factory or at the dealer so I don't have any experience with the install.

    Thanks for the video. If you're only hauling one bike do you think you'd put it on the front or back? Seems a lot easier to be able to put it on the front.

    • @thedroesslers
      @thedroesslers  3 месяца назад

      Yes, with 1 bike I usually put it on the front.

    • @thedroesslers

      Here is my response from a similar question: I looked over the bike rack and the manual and there is no specific model number. The rack is made by Lippert Components and is called LetsGoAERO but also uses the term Jack-It. I found it on Amazon (amzn.to/3fliPLS), but it looks like it does not come with the Power Tower which you would need to mount it above the Jack.

    Thanks, for the video review. We just purchase the same E-Pro E20BHS with Jack it. I have a question about room between the bike and the tow vehicle. I noticed that you have Chevy traverse. I'll be pulling mine with a ford explorer and wanted to how much if affects your turing radius before hitting the bikes on the rack?
    Thanks!

      The only time I never noticed it getting close was when backing into campsites when there is a tight angle. As far as I know, I never hit the tire against the tow vehicle. We bought a truck last year and we now use that to tow the camper most of the time. I hope that helps.

    • @TheFassed

      Yes, it does. Thanks for the reply. If you don't mind me asking, what did you buy for a truck?

    On the install.. I have an Epro, but when I go to take out the tongue Jack the power cord is too short without enough give to get the Jack out. Any thoughts or am I gonna have to return this rack? Thanks

    Do you have any problems with clearance between your truck and the front bike while turning sharp?

    • @thedroesslers
      @thedroesslers  3 года назад

      It does get close, but I have never had it hit. The tightest I turn is usually when backing into a campsite so I keep a close eye on it.

    Does it add a lot to your tongue weigh? My car has a 500 pound capacity tongue weight and this RV is already around 450, right?

    • @thedroesslers
      @thedroesslers  4 года назад +1

      The arms on the rack which are detachable are fairly light. It would be more the weight of the bikes you would need to worry about, but I believe it would only be a portion of the weight since they are not right over the end of the tongue. Our weight distribution hitch is pretty heavy which adds to the tongue weight, but our tow vehicle has a 600 pound capacity for tongue weight. I hope that helps.

    My GeoPro didn’t come with this. I have no clue where to buy it from. I want it.
    Any ideas on where to purchase?

    • @thedroesslers
      @thedroesslers  2 года назад

      Did you buy your camper from a dealer? If so, it would be best to check with them. I just did a search online and found a match on amazon (amzn.to/3zJcS69). This appears to be the same bike rack, but like I said it would be best to confirm with your dealer that this will work. Also, I have no idea how hard it is to install since our camper came with this already installed. Good luck!

      @@thedroesslers - I didn’t know that was the rack! I’ve seen that one a bunch of times and thought it wasn’t correct as they are $600 from the dealer.
      I live in CA so I purchased out of state. Saved over $10k by doing so even after transport. There’s no way living in CA justifies the increased prices. 🙄

    Can you tell me what model # the rack is ? All the ones I see for sale all have an offset toward camper . I need a straight one like yours

    • @thedroesslers
      @thedroesslers  4 года назад +1

      I cannot find a model # on it or the manual. It just says Jack-IT Lets Go AERO. I wonder if you need to get the straight piece separately. Our manual has the picture with the offset toward the camper, but our rack is actually straight. It was already installed on our camper when we bought it. The manual did have this URL: www.lci1.com/support

    • @jeffa5358

      My rack (factory installed) came with both the straight up-down connector and the offset one. The straight one was installed and the offset one was just thrown into the pass-thru storage. It appears the racks are shipped with both types. But maybe not always?

    Wouldn’t it be easier to hang the bikes from the tires seat down? That’s how I hang mine in garage, easier to hang that way, and put handlebars opposite each other.

    • @thedroesslers
      @thedroesslers  4 года назад +1

      I am pretty sure the handlebar of the front bike would hit my tow vehicle when turning if I did them upside down.

    • @yankeesusa1

      That is very true, but the bikes are usually on here while traveling and then they are removed once you arrive. You can always wrap extra bike locks around it to keep honest people honest.
