  • Wanderers is a vision of humanity's expansion into the Solar System, based on scientific ideas and concepts of what our future in space might look like, if it ever happens. The locations depicted in the film are digital recreations of actual places in the Solar System, built from real photos and map data where available.
Without any apparent story, other than what you may fill in by yourself, the idea of the film is primarily to show a glimpse of the fantastic and beautiful nature that surrounds us on our neighboring worlds - and above all, how it might appear to us if we were there.

Yeah, space is cool, but when I see images like this, in the back of my mind mostly I think, "We can't get there from here, and when the day comes that we _can_, we won't be able to return." Basically, my advice is to enjoy the photographs and enjoy the knowledge we gain.

ChipArgyle Your opinion sounds like an echo of the Europeans before they crossed the Atlantic. And they had even less reason for optimism than any potentially spacefaring civilization would, bec they weren't even sure there was an undiscovered frontier out there.
Our species might never have made it out of Africa without this deep seeded need to explore and take risks.

That's OK, just sit there, the rest of us will do the work to get there. Just don't ask for a ride off the planet when it turns to shit.

Who's turning the planet to shit again? If we colonize another planet, what will happen to it? I think I'll call your argument "The Muslim Migration Plan for Outer Space".
