I was so deep I to apple ecosystem. I bought the fod5 because I wanted to try something different and boy. I don't want to go back to apple. In fact, I only using my fold 5 for everything. Love it. I'll keep it and will start ditching apple devices
I just upgraded from iphone 13 pro max to fold 5 and i love it but the battery has been not good. Does the battery get better? even my 13 pro max lasted longer than this fold 5. It has barely been three days with the fold 5

Hi Nick, I have a question since you have both devices can you compare screen calibration? I really like z fold 5 but not sure if samsung fixed the "natural mode" profile - it always seems too warm and off compared to iphones standard, also I'm wondering if samsung fixed the gradient banding - usually present in pure gradient wallpapers or apps like spotify (background gradients) it always looks blocky with horizontal lines visible, thx :)
The banding will likely never be fixed. Samsung just doesn't render enough colors on the home screen. It has nothing to do with your wallpaper or the screen.
Nick can you do a video on what you would want and love to see on a Apple Foldable.

So are you using the z fold as your main phone? If not then it can’t be that great.
If you press the X to remove the controls then expand it again it goes the full screen it's how I use flex mode way better

Was this a video even worth doing? Iphone is essentially the same phone year after year while Samsung has given 3 distinct phones. I'm so glad I left the Apple ecosystem after 6s and got a Note as my first Samsung phone. I'm still using my Fold 4 and will be swapping to Fold 6 next year. Hoping Samsung includes a Spen slot.

Im seeing a lot of comments of iphone users saying they are buying one? Yeah it could be fake comments to hype the Open, but considering the Open is lighter (so ive heard anyway) than the iphone i wonder if iphone uses are started to itch for a foldable device? 🤔
As a “power user” I’m worried about buying this phone. I’m talking on the phone, listening to music, or streaming podcasts from 8:45 to about 6:30 Monday through Friday on my iPhone 12 and only started needing a charge a few months ago. I’ve had it two years.

It's pretty cringe to think that people want a large front screen but take no consideration with size of inner screen.
Samsung needs to make a z fold 6 ultra with a big wide front screen like xaomi mix fold 3 , s pen inside , better battery , s23 camera etc. They have work to do
Mix Fold 3 is too big. People buying the Z Fold buy it because it's easy to hold AND use with one hand. An internal S pen would be nice, but probably not worth their effort since most people tend to ignore it.
I use rhe s pen on my s23 ultra daily

You cant even compare this two phones Z Fold 5 is on a whole different level i would i lnow i own one...
In what way? I've been looking at the Fold 5 but can't see how it's better than my 15 Pro Max besides multi tasking. Battery life, speed, build, cameras etc aren't as good as the 15 Pro Max. I need those things on a daily basis.

I'm a samsung phone user myself and still think that the comparison you made was not good. You didn't show why the fold is better. You showed why you prefer the Z fold vs any candy bar phone.
Apple has alway been overrated since the first Iphone ...before i got into phones i looked up what was the best phone and a lot of phone was better than the iphone i started with HTC cause they was the first big phones and than i went the Samsung and been with them every since i have had all the notes and all the folds
So you haven't tried an iPhone? I was with Android & Samsung until about 3 years ago. I've been getting into Apple products and the 15 Pro Max is the best phone I've owned and I mean as a complete package. The battery, speed, cameras, build, software etc are unmatched. I was looking at the Fold 5 and even tried one in a local shop. I found the front screen way too narrow, the software was good and the main screen is good too but I just expected it to be bigger. It's about a 3rd wider than my 15 Pro Mac but shorter. If it had a bigger front screen and the main screen was a little wider, I'd like it a lot.
Never got why samsung did not just make it the same size as their other phones insted of long an thin, its weird.

The slim narrow front design is good for one handed use I like it😊
Most likely to make users to use the larger screen more. After all that's mainly the reason why u buy a foldable (to use the larger screen). If u want to have an outer screen that's more like a normal slab phone such as the pixel fold, you will more or less use the outer screen more than the inner screen compared to the Z Fold5. But at the same time, I do see your point.

Do not really care about the iPhone 14PM, with the 15 Ultra only a week away, no one should buy an iPhone 14 ATM.
Anyway, with that outside display aspect ratio, the Galaxy Fold 5 is a no-go for me. Pixel Fold the one.

@@alexanderrahl482 z fold 4 i have improve that the screen is balnk and is going to blue and flickring as well i take care of my phones more than my self when day i wake up and gently i opened the phone and thats happend .and another youtubers had same problem he had z fold 3 that time and he said if this happene same to z fold 4 i will broken all samsung in his home ,and now z fold4 happend the same so im sure z fold 5 will have that problem u will face that problem witihin 6 months ,welcome to samausng
