I abandoned iphone too. My only complain would be how bulky it is when closed, and heavy too. Also battery life is poor. Still I'm enjoying the powerful features

I'm about to upgrade from a Note 9 to Fold 5. I can't wait to make use of all the multitasking features. I like having windows and split screen capabilities on my Note, but it feels crowded with the screen size. I mostly stopped using these features, but seeing how they have been implemented on the Fold is making me realize just how much use I'm really going to get out of this hardware.
This is just awesome. Thanks a lot for the great tutorial video to take advantage of all the features. One question though. For the apps in secure folder, how do we enforce landscape or full screen mode?
I’ve been on iOS since iPhone 7+ and the one thing I hate about iOS is the inability to do multitask windows on the iPhone. I have the iPhone 13 Pro Max and I think I’m about to trade it in for the F5. I’m just afraid that after a year or two of updates it would start lagging. My 13 Pro Max is up to date with zero lags. It’s the reason why I stopped using android phones. But the F5 is really winning me over with how feature rich the phone is. Its worth the 1000 trade in upgrade but waiting for the announcement on the iPhone 15 pro max has me on the fence 😒 I played with the F5 at my nearest Best Buy and I’m so amazed.
I did just that! Switched my I phone pro Max 13 and got me a Fold 5 and love it! The switch from Apple to Android was easier than I imagined! So GO FOR IT!!!

Thanks! And the inside screen has bezels built into the frame, so the screen never touches on a flat surface. If you're using a case, you'll have even more space between the screen and the surface. However, rough/uneven surfaces could still touch the screen.
I've now got this wonderful phone but we use chromecast to project up to our older TV screen but all I can get on a provider I've got (UK channels) is mirror image. All local channels project up full screen. Can I get this other one as full screen please
Thanks for all this info! Are you using a case? I currently have a case but the front screen case has a bezel that is too large and makes it hard to open the edge panel. I'm looking for either a smaller case (if possible) or just remove that front cover and only use the back cover. My case is a Caseolgy Parallax.
I have an one issue and tried finding the solution to it , but couldn't find it. The issue is how can I go full screen while watching netflix without getting the edges of the original video cut. When I try to expand the screen using finger gesture, the video does cover the full screen but the edges on each side of the video are cut. Is there any solution to this. I want to watch netflix and prime video by utilizing the full display of fold. Do reply if u know the answer. Thanks
Stayed with Z fold 3... Noone talks about this minimally taller z3 outer display gives international screen a minimally bigger display when turned sideways watching videos aspect ratio internationally is better. Id want a samsung to get something closer to the honor magic v2😮
@arthursutton2492 the hinge is so much better, you can definitely tell the difference in thickness even though its only 2mm, and the fact it folds flat. The weight as well. The cameras are slightly better not much though. Just feels like a better phone. I'm not clued up on all the ins and outs of the differences but I don't regret trading it in at all. Plus it's cheaper for me per month for the fold 5 both were/are on contract. I was getting ripped off with the fold 4.

Great video gave it a 👍 . But im not going to use any of these features. This is my first fold was excited about it. Although I'm not a fan of Samsung. Still I bought this phone 3 days ago. And immediately had buyers remorse. 1800 dollars for a phone that doesn't come with a s pen. 180p dollars for a phone that will need repair every few months because of the hinge or the screen protector coming off. I was hoping to like this phone, but I know that I. wasted my money 😢
You don't need to take fast photos like that u just move the shutter button to left and it takes continuous shots... Samsung always do... I have this phone and I guarantee that works

It's simple. people are choosing productivity over camera. Not all consumers needs an outstanding camera. Bigger space to work, multi tasking, s-pen feature ( taking notes, drawings, photo editing). all in one pocket, wherever you are. can connect to Screen using Dex mode, streaming, etc. If apple were the first on the market with these innovations, nobody will criticise that much. Samsung are always innovating and improving. Price is high but also the only in the market with all these future included in a phone. If you have big pockets (as size not money :)) ) and you don't mind a big pen, ipad mini is an interesting choice
BEWARE. THE PHONE IS TRASH. after a few months it folds not open completely. Only 170 degrees. Then you got more mirroring en you see the fold much more. 1 month later the screen is coming off in the middle above. Repaired 2x. Still not good. Very mad
DONT LISTEN to this guy lol I currently own the fold 5 and absolutely have no issues yet since launch, the inner display is a thing of beauty 👌 the software is what makes this phone enjoyable

You can also drag the link in Samsung internet browser to open it in multi window. You don't have to go to the tab.

When open placed down its so likely to get scratched. Make sure to place on a clean service.
