In this video we are showing you how to remove and replace or just remove the front bumper cover on a Jaguar X-TYPE (X TYPE). It will be the same procedure for all engine including the Jaguar X-Type 2.5 3.0 2.1 2.0 Engine. It should be the same for the All Wheel Drive and the Front wheel Drive models.
It is not very complicated procedure to remove the front bumper cover on this Jaguar X-type. You will not need any special tools for the job. You will need a 10 mm socket and a screwdriver or T-tool.
This should cover the models for the whole generation:

The how to unplug the fog light combo connector could be better explained. There is normally a red plate to pull back and there is a flat small screwdriver needed to open the plug locking before the plug can be pulled back.

i understand completly how to take the front bumper off, but as my jaguar XS is now 11 years old, the bolts under the wheel arch are very worn away, and one of them we cannot get off... so its making it difficult to take off

Vladimir you really need to get rid of your Jaguar X-Type. It seems like you have a lot of problems with it.
