    Thank you for posting this. I'll be replacing both of my headlights as well as my front/rear bumpers in a couple of weeks, and your videos have been very helpful. I'm sure people can do it just by loosening one side of the bumper at a time or something, but honestly that seems like more fiddling work in the end.

      Hi TrueNormanSkies. Somehow I missed your comment and it's been a while. Thank you for watching. I agree that it may be possible one side at a time but you ultimately have too do both sides and you won't be worried about holding the bumper up or it hanging and possibly causing damageif you just take it off in full. I've never worked on PT Cruiser before and this seemed to be the most logical way to do this job and explore under the bumper for the assembly logistics. Blessings!

    Always PLAN a DAY. ALWAYS Good Advice.
    I was pulling out of my Driveway, and I tore off my bumper hitting the tree stump.
    RIght now its raining cats and dogs in JUNE. Nice. Course its Portland Oregon. Subed since you said you had Volvo Content.

      Hi Mickey. Somehow I missed your comment. Thank you for the sub. I am working on my 64' Volvió 122s and I also got a 1958 Volvió PV 444 for my son. I'll be uploading new videos on both cars and also on the PT Cruiser.

    looks easier then expected was gonna start doing the same and expected a myriad of screws everywhere, got to say the pt looks really good in white

      Hi Sanny. Thank you for watching. It's actually Cool Vanilla and while it looks good in other colors, I do like this color a lot. With regards to the job, it's not too bad and removing the front bumper could also allow for updating the horn that sounds horrible (removal of bumper not needed for horn but you'll have it off already) and working on the intercooler for the turbo models. It also gets you familiarized on how it's put together as well as what to expect if you upgrade to a PTeazer look. Blessings?

      @@luiselmilusos7625 i agree as i did it now only issue the car i work on has been out in the natures force and allot of parts has rotten sadly as some screws split for me.
      Blessings and keep up the content.

    Hey Luis, Great video!! Question, can you recall IF you can get to the bottom of the Power Steering to get access to the high pressure power steering line for removal with the headligh removed? There a hole/opening and im thinking the power steering unit is right there.. I don't want to have to remove the front grill, then the radiator and then the fan etc etc. Thanks!!

    • @scottcates
      @scottcates Год назад

      It's way easier working on the high pressure power steering line with the fan removed and the radiator loosened. Turbo is even worse.

      Yes your engine is fried

      Spark plugs. I would start there and see if anything changes. You could also take it to your local auto part store and have them read your car.

    Great vid, but wouldve liked to see a way to get to those 2 top nuts when they dont stick to fender. Having a horrid time trying to get my hand in there.

    • @luiselmilusos7625
      @luiselmilusos7625  2 года назад

      Hi Jay. Use a long extension and put the nut in the socket. Line up the extension to the bolt and tighten the extension. It saves you from putting your hand in there. If you are using your hand, you have to pull back the liner to get your hand in there but it's easier with the extension. Thanks for your comment!

      Hi John. This is for 2000 - 2005 but it's the same idea for the 2006 - 2010. In fact, if you switch out the headlights, you can interchange the front ends.
