You don't have to do all that I change my bulb three times already just turn the wheel all the way to clear it to the right that's all you have to do I do it in the daylight with a no problem
You don't have to do all that turn your wheel all the way to the right with it reach in there with a flashlight if it's a little too dark use a flashlight turn the wheel to the right pop the cover put a little bit dw40 if it's tough to get off pop it out you don't have to do all that if your tires are tiny I understand but if you have the bigger tires on a PT cruiser the 195.55 R15 you can get in there easily change your ball by turning the wheel
I've watched a couple of other videos on the same subject matter and must comment that yours is A++++ due to your attention to the details that might be minor to some! It was great how you showed the tools at the beginning and how you show the small door and clips as well as when the headlight is in its proper position! I'm surprised you don't have more views by amateurs like me! Thanks very much! Great job!
Subscribed. Was able to change the directionals using these instructions (didn't remove wheels though). This video is very well made. Hope to see more. Thanks for the content. Keep up the good work. bs'd
excellent video but why remove the front wheel, when trying to access the left bulbs i just turned the steering to the left and found this gave plenty of room and turned steering to the right to access the right side bulbs, saves a lot of time and effort
My guess is "tummy trouble" which for many of us, gets in the way of doing operations like this one without removing obstructions that otherwise wouldn't present problems to others of us who do not have any tummy. Good point though, I've seen another video that doesn't remove the wheel to get through the access panel. But I also see there's another video where the access panel is not used, and instead the content creator decides to remove the grill, bumper and engine in order to change the headlight: ruclips.net/video/V_AKA_62ULw/видео.html
I have a 2003 and a 2007 PT Cruiser. I see another's comment about not taking the wheel off. I think this is dependent upon one's size hand! If your hand is small enough, I'm sure the person could get to the door without a problem but if larger hand, taking the wheel off would make the job much easier! I went to a shop and they wanted me to pay $52 to get lightbulb installed (labor only - I was supplying new bulb)! Because I had watched uTube video, I knew that when he said they would have to remove the bumper, they were just trying to overcharge me! Many times I've encountered a mechanic who thinks I'm a 'dumb woman' when it comes to cars but I prove them wrong!
Job takes way longer just to take off wheel than to change bulbs, and you do not have to take wheel off, lots of room keeping wheel on, just turn wheel one way to give you more room, guess for video it works easier to see, but removing wheel is waste of time
Dude! I have a 2001 PT Loser. Changed low beam headlight on right side. Simply turn the wheel all the way to the left, pop off the cover, change bulb. Took me all of two minutes. you do NOT have to jack up the car, or remove the tire. WAY overkill.
I am just really surprised, even astonished how the producer made the replacement of the bulbs complicated.
Thanks for the good tutorial 👍

Cindy Ringer I agree too
I truely wish more were like this , simple to fallow and all the information you may need to know to do the repair right
I love how you give directions to the cameraman (assuming he is your son). excellent video, I just inherited a PTcruiser and it really helped
The camera persons voice is pretty feminine. Also, you can hear the mechanic call her "Molly".

Useless to remove the wheel :(
i thought the very same thing...doing a lot of extra work just to change a bulb.
You can see what you are doing better but it is too much extra work and unnecessary
Probably better to get the camera in there to show you everything.
