I agree with the pros and cons. I had four large pieces on the torso and then had them sort of incorporated as a 'theme'. Looks really cool. Yes, it's painful, especially along the ribs and at the 'underboob' area but definitely worth it. I had them done this year and they all healed up very well and they're extremely unique. No hearts, flowers, or unicorns lol

Yeah, my stomach tattoo was like as if I was being gutted alive, and being flammed with a blow torch. It was worth it, but the pain was so indescrible.
I just got a giant piece done on my stomach and lower ribcage. Everyone's experiences and pain tolerances are different; but in my experience, the lower and middle of the stomach honestly didn't hurt. As a chick on the skinny side though, not gonna bullshit you guys, I got humbled fast on the lower ribcage. Towards the end when my ribcage got blasted with color, I burst into tears. It's a beautiful piece that was worth it, but expect anything on the upper tummy / ribcage to hurt like a f*cking bitch. On the brightside, it's been healing quicker than other tattoos ive gotten.
We have done a couple of Q&A in the Kitchen on gaining and losing weight. This would be the last one - ruclips.net/video/XmF1NTLanHg/видео.html. I'll talk with the guys and see what we can come up with.
I've been tattooing mainly on myself which has had varying results. Today i did my stomach and pain wise whilst tattooing it was fine but afterwards (mainly the first day) it was really painful to the point that it made me have stomach cramps. Which was a first to me (im on my 104th tattoo now).
I’m getting a tattoo on my abdomen in about a month and the main thing I’m concerned about is how to breathe without messing up the artist with the movement of breathing, lol. I’m starting to think maybe it’s a silly concern since I can’t see anyone talking about it anywhere I’ve looked, but I figured I may as well ask-have you ever seen that cause an issue in your experience? And if so, do you have any tips on how to breathe while also holding still enough for my artist?
I’m about to get a giant stomach and chest piece. My weight fluctuates drastically up and down, up and down… pretty nervous about destroying something that’s gonna be cool. It’s really the only room I have left though besides my face. Gotta just do it and hope I can’t stay half fat forever..
Just got the side of my belly tatted and let me say that shit was the worst pain of my life. Over a dozen tattoos including hand and the stomach had me about to breakdown and ima big ole boy 6’2 350
Just got my whole chest done one sitting didn’t hurt as bad as the first one I got when I was 16 across my chest it hurt like hell but not as bad this time as I remembered used some numbing gel and I was good
Yes, it is true. Have to stay slim, or it distorts. I wear sports bras ( crop tops are actually back in style now 😉 ) Mystic Japanese Dragon. Full belly tat mural. 🐉.❤
I've had 4 children so my tummy isn't exactly how it used to be...that said I was hoping to get a large tattoo to cover the stretch marks and symbolise strength as well as self love. I was thinking of a tiger face hoping the stripes and features would work well with the movement of the body. What do you think?
It is possible. It really depends on the state of the area and how the design will work with the marks. I would suggest setting up a consultation with your artist. Bring reference images of the type of tiger you want.
I have my whole upper body tatted ...it all fuckin hurts .. stomach suuuucked especially the hip area and love handle areas ..ribs are brutal near the armpit, sternum , and elbows are the worst..
I'm very ticklish on my stomach٫ I'm getting a small tattoo on the right side of my stomach would I be able to be still or would i need to pick somewhere else to tattoo
It's all about whether you cam relax. If you feel you can't, consider a different area. We have tattooed a number of people that are ticklish, it comes down to if you can control your reaction and in my experience most people can.
@@BodyPiercingTattooing I heard from someone that is also ticklish that you feel pain more than being tickled because try comparing a tattoo needle to someone's hands
Been finding all kinds of videos about weight gain but none of weight loss.. I have lost about 70 pounds and back in shape now so the skin is a little looser and want to do an lower abdominal tattoo.
First off, congratulations!!!! Losing that much and being healthy is huge. It really depends on the condition of your skin. Your best option is to set up a consultation with your artist. Also it really depends on if you plan on losing more weight.
Thank you so much.. the main reason I am asking is because indo my own tattoos I been doing then almost two years now and I will not lose any more weight than this and I have been trying to tighten it as much as I can with working out.. but extra stretched skin is still there. It's not horrible more annoying than anything. Lol
got my first stomach tattoo it hurts like shit man i thought it was less pain man i was wrong the face tattoos i got was so much easier i’m still trying to figure out how to sleep with it tho
@@BodyPiercingTattooing I’m like 70% covered in tattoos and that was the most painful tattoo I got so far. I rate the stomach to be a 10 out of 10 scale of pain. It was a 7 hour session for the outline. Unfortunately I gotta go back for a second session for the shading. I never thought there be a day I would say I have to consider that numbing cream for the second session lol.
It depends on how much weight is gained or lost and how fast you do so. If pregnancy is a concern, you can use cocoa butter and it will improve the elasticity and reduce stretching. Also, stretch marks are hereditary and there is no way of avoiding it.
Got my first tattoo on my stomach...medium size tattoo but im trying to figure out how it generally compares to an outer thigh tattoo (my next one) pain wise, and it will be larger. Any advice?
My stomach and ribs definitely were my most painful but I’m so proud I did it without numbing cream 💪🏼

Usually the artist will get into a rhythm with the client's breathing. The last thing we want you to do is hold your breath and pass out.

You guys must be rich . The cost of these tattoos is insane
Tattoos like anything is an investment. However, most heavily tattooed people slowly add them over a long period of time.
Actually, insane prices are for gas.

USE the stretch marks... IN the design
Work WITH what you have ... not against
If you gain 20-30lbs and you wanna get it in the middle of your belly. Will it change significantly?
It really depends on how your body reacts to the weight gain.
There are many women who go back to the exact same body they had before pregnancy my brotha 😎😎😎🤣🔥💋

It really depends on if you are planning on having children in the future.

How does one wrap the abdomen after tattooing it? Just wrap the hole abdomen with seran wrap?
Sanidetm is the most common method these day.

Elbow crease and wrist sucked for me too, managable but *ouch*
Does weight loss affect it? Like from 50kg to 43kg
I want a panther but like 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Hmmm
The panther is one of the great classic tattoo designs. Never goes out of style, and leaves a lot of room for putting your spin on it.
I got a panther today. I put in some sweat.
I want one to cover streach marks, will that work??
It really depends on the marks and the design.
does being a little chubby effect the tattoo artist giving a tattoo or anything
Probably makes it less sore for you as it's not bone contact but ask an artist when you're consulting I'd say
will it get messed up & distorted too bad if you gain or lose weight ?
