That xtreme gtr last shoot out lap was crazy, its engine started to die halway through the lap and still set a crazy time

HKS released a new heritage RB26 engine with a new Pre-chamber ignition (Turbulent Jet Ignition) bolted directly into a standard 05u head a year or so ago
There is debate on SAU about whether this is a std head to accept pre-chamber
It looks like a std 05u head...it is a std head
Unless HKS cast a new head in secret just to fit TJI which someone on SAU is claiming
HKS have stated 600hp 5L/100k 78mm stroke, 87mm piston, 8.7cr assuming on jap 100ron, 2530 style turbos but now with TJI

Question, given the enourmous benefits we've seen from TJI (pre-chamber) in ICE for eg in F1, e10, 1600cc, 19:1cr, 30:1 AFR, 55psi, 850+bhp, which an engineer said would be impossible without pre chamber
- in your opinion do you see benefits and opportunity trickling down to us esp in regards to knock/detonation reduction which seem enourmous

Are we likely to see TJI pre chamber in RB26s heads one day or his GTSboy on SAU correct and this is a secret head / marketing ploy to introduce TJI that will never see the light of day?
I remember listening on a HPI podcast i think u said you were going to evolve these parts to the moon and back does that mean TJI / GDI could be a possibility one day?

Scary to think that JImmy's car if you entered it in open and put A050's on it, would genuinely make the shootout in Open Class.
The A052 is pretty damn good. Doubt it would be 4 seconds quicker on a A050, but leave to see a test.
@@MotiveVideo looking at the lap time left on the table and the gain on an A050, I'd say that car is good for around a 1:30 flat
also remember this time was set on Day 1 and we have no idea what it would have done on a colder track with more tuning and adjustments on Saturday.
