Can you upgrade weapons while in the dlc map. There's some many smiting stones but I see not a single blacksmith.
Edit:I just found out how to leave
I must be blind: where is that build selector tool? I checked the wiki and was unable to find it.
@@Zytri92same, was also looking for it
Build selector tool pls
You should really make a vid on NPC questlines that you can miss, I’m pretty worried about that
The story is more linear. Like any fromsfot, always help the npcs if they ask, don’t kill then unless they ago to you first.
That's part of the fun haha
Hell yes! 100 percent
Also, you can play it again in another playthru or character. Have fun bro.
@@kayhaich lol wasn't fun in the base game, just dogshit gamedesign
Random soldiers napping on the roadside can 2HKO me. And I love it.
This is the right attitude 😂
Exactly thats what made me Explore kniwing it Will be one tough of a fight if i dont been stuck on the first boss for 3 hours and second one already 4 or more (not using Summons to) and i love it its rally hard but makes me wanna "git gud "
WE ARE SOO BACK!! can't wait for 100 more crazy fun build guides 🥳
there was a spinny dude just north of the first grace and god damn that guys moved so fluid
Am I the only one that doesnt see the build selector on their site?
Happy DLC day fellow tarnished!!!
NOT YET
I preordered the dlc when I only had ps4 but now I got a ps5 and I can’t find the dlc I bought in the store
I have to wait till tomorrow
@@baconboy-roblox1840Playstation support fixed it ask them 🗣️
Renala: I'm gonnuh throw the moon at you.
The DLC: That's adorable.
The DLC kicked my ass 😅 I went straight to Belurat, not knowing what was waiting for me there. I usually go in blind but I might consider following your progression guide. I'll try again tomorrow and then I'll make a decision. Thanks for all the guides
We will have a walkthrough going out soon for Belurat!
the lion is the easiest of all the DLC bosses by a lot
Beat mohg and radahn at level 66, going in, wish me luck 😰
You are either a fool, or the most giga of chads.
I wish you luck, traveler.
LEVEL 66 WTF
You gonna get rekt by normal weak soldiers
You’ll level up quick on trash mobs who drop 1k each lol
@@kratos97261it's lame so far. I respect my health lower to 55 and an getting rect. I haven't played Elden Ring in a while. Bloodborne, demon souls etc. Just one shot by everyone. I'm old and not quick to judge., but feels like it's gonna be a big gimmick. Already feel like the map sucks.
Thank you for everything you do! You ARE the souls-wiki lord 🙌
The dancing lion is grinding my gears
Just beat that boss and it was the most fun boss fight i had currently
he is easy compared to the rest
@@themumpkeys5259 I would hope so since he’s the first boss
@@sm7085 you say that but old hunters first boss was hardest
I beat him in 3 tries. Rellana is kicking my ass. I can’t get past that 2 moon move
So hyped!! Can’t wait till midnight tonight !
Happy DLC Day Yall ! Thank God For This Gudie !!
I did absolutely everything I possibly could on a new character until right before I burned the erdree! In literal perfect time for this to drop today! It’s amazing!
I started the game on June 7th and just beat it today. Took me 13 days and 80 hours of gameplay. I am ready
Ive been looking for the build selector, where can I find it?
Same here, can't find it anywhere
If you mean to change your stats go to renala and use larva tear
Lifesaver thank you
Now the journey begins!!
Great video
I was so excited to be playing the dlc i didnt even realize i had a bunch of scadu fragments and revered spirit ashes sitting in my inventory. 😂
Hi, i can't find the mentioned Build Selector Tool, anybody know where to find it? Thanks in advance!
This feels like it’s going to be as deep, if not deeper than the secrets in the base game. I just played about 30 mins of it and am hooked again. I had a 262 blood build I took into the DLC and it feels ok. I’m sure I’ll need to change up soon. Can’t wait to try these new weapons
I have it downloaded and started it yesterday but put it down fast. I have to wait til after work today when I have a few days off, because I can tell I’m going to be sucked into this for a while. lol. Exciting release!!!
I never played a harder game,Love it!
Perfect vid, no spoilers, basic stuff.
Fextralife always the best 👍
Quick fire no nonsense greatness.
Your map was great for the base game and I am sure it will be good for the dlc🎉
I can't find the build selector tool anywhere! Is it online yet?
I just jumped back into Elden Ring after a long time away and I completely forgot my character, build, how to play etc.. almost overwhelmed/lost. I considered restarting from scratch, but I don't know if I wanna go through the entire game/bosses all over again, lol.
It's crazy how like soft and lazy you get when your immensely over powered in the main game and going back to barley chipping hp bars and getting 1 tapped 😂
I couldnt believe that the scadutree blessings were permanent so ive just been hoarding them refusing to use them lol. Activating them should make things a bit easier 😅
Haha now you're going to feel superpowered!
love how using anglo-saxon words makes everything sound better. yay history!
We love you, Fextra! You are my main source of information for anything RPG and your Wiki's are my Bible.
Nice tip on where to go if you don't want to progress yet, sadly I still need 30mins to wait before the dlc opens despite others already playing..
Still some time until launch here but i apreciatte the early guidance fextra, i was hoping to learn how to get the new katana and this is already here thanks!!
I'm still using your Lightning Dragoon guide with the Bolt of Gransax and having a great time =) I really like how spears play and hope there are some in the DLC =) just beat the Dancing lion 1st boss.
I've gone to the shadow realm with level 105 and +22 or 23 greatsword. In the base game have just reached the Fire Giant boss, so couldn't upgrade the weapon further. But it's my second playthrough, so first dlc area feels fine for now.
Can’t wait for Saturday or sometime next week because the Deluxe edition (physical) still isn’t mailed to me despite preordering.
Can heartily recommend the Backhand Blade build. Hyper aggressive play style with fantastic capability on that BlindSpot skill.
Glad I watched this, I found that dragon and somehow must've ran right past the katana
I killed the furnace big guy on the starting area 2 handing a daggers with the use of raptor of the mist on one.
Took a while but was pretty ez that way.
At some moment it drops down to the ground like the vanilla game giants and then you can 140crit damage it for somewhere around 20k dmg.
Where is the build selector tool on the website? I can't find it anywhere
You have a very good commentator voice.
1:21 where's the build selector I can't find it for the life of me
the dark paladin armor is awesome. is it in the base game or the dlc ?
Make sure to do the quest lines before it’s too late they are helpful late game
The star lined sword really butters my biscuit.
Another great video, I’ve been trying to find a guide without (major) spoilers as I haven’t got the DLC and this is it.
It sounds like all enemies hit hard and can 2-3 shot players, even at 60 vigor. Is there a way to level up in the DLC to counter this? Or is it just part of Shadow of the Erdtree whatever your level?
Get as many Scadutree fragments as you can and level up at sites of grace. Each level raises your damage dealt AND damage negation.
I’m using the morgotts curse sword with blood & flame incantations but I’m struggling in the snowy mountaintops area
I'd love that Knightblade build earlier but I understand..
How are we supposed to get the fragment next to FORT OF REPRIMAND without killing a boss?
nevermind, found the path, it's east the poison vendor
Should I take my 54Str/45Fth character, or 80int character? I just want to know which one is more likely to be able to USE as much new stuff?
I'm going in with my 100% character at lvl250 ng +4 I'll see how it goes but I may change up my build for fun. I typically change it every NG cycle.
If you go with the build with the stone shield and mohg spear you can have a easy life, trust me, 50 str for shield and arcane for the spear to proc bleed. The shield can absorb any dmg without you taking dmg for all the moobs and some boss atks
That dark paladin build calling my name
Only a couple hours in but my lvl194 Royal Frost Knight is feeling good so far. Enemies def hit like tanks. I can tell it’s going to be a struggle at points tho
paitently waiting until 12 AM today :(. 5 hours left. going to take a nap
these new weapon types is what i was dying for at LAUNCH! change of gameplay from the standard souls combat. better late then never tho. all 8 look amazing and fun.
I started last night, the dancing lion thing decimated me
One huge question. Should you even level up?! I'm 170 and I'm running through enemies in the field so far
Where is the Build Selector Tool? I can only find the calculator.
That first enemy just north of the grace isn’t as bad as the sentinel, but definitely an ego check.
Try the death knights twin axes they're really good in my opiniom
Will scadutree fragment carry over for the next playthrough? Or we need to get it from 0 again
Are their any weapons, armor, or talismans with regen or life steal for my immortal vampire build?
what about a pure magic/caster build for the start of the DLC? Any tips? XD
Just read this in the walkthrough "boost Spirit Ashes beyond +10" with the Revered Spirit Ashes .... and was wondering how lol because none of em appear to go up more for me ...
Few minutes in the dlc, almost got killed by surprisingly tought dancing omen, harrassed by birds aand worms, and a surprise encounter with naked man armed with a claw.
Typical souls experience.
Dont forget the jumpscares that are more often now everywhere i step in a new road or castle i make sure to look my sides jajaj
Even going close to a grave and a big ass scream outta nowhere appears
How is the New Game Plus (NG+) scaling?
Bout that time fellas 😎
so far i’ve done the bosses in the order: weird jumping dragon dancer lion guy (forgot name), renalla knight lady, and then the scudotree avatar and i have tier 3 of the fragments, am i doing the bosses in intended order or did i skip something?
Can you actually access the Scaduview scadu fragment? It seems like I'd have to complete Castle Ennis first.
What will I mess by going into castle ensis to get the light greatsword first?
I’m sure you’ve already found it since making this video but there is a scadutree fragment east of the scorched ruins in a graveyard dropped by a pot guy.
Any know if being in NG+ already affects the dlc?
Don't think I can do NPC quests without a guide or wiki. FS's quest systems are useless.
Lol😂 thats why the dogboss twohitted me with every move 😂
Are any of the new DLC weapons available before entering the Shadow lands?
Ofcourse not
No, but there are a ton that are just inside! We have a video about this in 1 hour.
Will you relase a video gor the dark paladin buold?
Hey im new here, where can i find the build selector tool?
Cant seem to find it on the wiki
On the wiki on the top are tabs. Go to the character tab and you will see PVE and PVP builds. There are some for base game and DLC based builds. Hope it helps
Did you find a way to get on top of the root plateau near the entrance to Belurat?
Damn i beat the first boss before exploring all those areas x.x
where can we find the build selector tool ?
I went to the wiki and was looking to see how to backup my game on Xbox series S but I don’t not see Xbox as an option . Can you backup on Xbox?
Wheres the build selector link
8:24
"My" wisdom? I wouldn't go that far. 😂
How about resistances enemies and bosses? I play on faith build with art flame and giant hunt. Fire dmg is good on this dlc?
Good luck everyone!!!!
Oh baby… here we go again
I went in at lvl 147, let's goooo
If you find a sleeping/sick kindred of rot (pest) by a precipice, DON'T KILL IT! I did and you may (will?) mess up a companion quest. I don't know what to do 'cause I already messed up. Maybe healing it? Good luck!
dark paladin build :O!
i'm playing the DLC from a NG+ playthrough, and i'm definitely regretting it. Should've just started a whole new game before this.
Does it scale with ng+ or just blessings
I like the Fextra progression route map on the website but there’s some weird dotted lines leading from one area to another and I have no idea what those are. Is there an explanation of the map or a map key somewhere?
Anybody else's mimic tear+10 feel moreso a tank now in this DLC? So far I think they are benefiting from the upgrade curency than the one for my character.
does the dlc have any relevance for returning players who stopped playing mid-game a while ago and are starting a fresh save?
Beat the base game first. Then do dlc
The whole game? @@oXRaptorzXo
Am I just an idiot or is anyone else completely stumped trying to find this new "Build Selector" they mentioned in the vid???
This dlc on ng+3 is a doozy for sure. Everything does SOOO much dmg. Insane. Im lvl 226 with 60 vigor and just dummied. Having lots of fun tho. Just killed the boss for the first main area but i havny explored the left side of the game yet. Im hoping i didnt mess any quests up.
do you have a link to that build selector thing?
How many more larval tears are in the dlc?
