I'm from massachusetts...dad from canada..spent a lot of time up there near lac ste jean..I don't really miss the cold but there is crazy shit in the "woods" here!!
this came up on my feed, older video but just sub'd, great footage! looking forward to going to your channel and catching up. Thank you for all the time you spend on these videos. beautiful area and animals!
Mimi V We have quite a few resident fox on the property. Start seeing familiar faces and tails. Alaska Fish n Game website has good info on them. www.adfg.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=redfox.main
That high pitch sound is on the videos as I can here it on my desktop computer and it's almost painful on some clips. It's on one brand of camera that has the thin info bar at the bottom and it's not on any that have the thick (large text) info bars. About half of this post has it.
@@TheFront40Alaska I wonder if it's so high a pitch that some people might be tone def to it. Reminds me of the fact that there is at least one cricket that I can only here in one ear. Maybe there are some pitches that I cannot hear at all. But maybe some speakers can't reproduce it.as well.
If you can, please watch my most recent video that I posted last night. (September 04) I put noise filters on those clips. Let me know if you hear any improvement.
@@TheFront40Alaska I watched the new one - there was a "hum" at 2:30 that faded away and I would never have noticed it if I was not looking for it since it was low pitched. All the rest was great
Thanks for the feedback. I now have noise filters put on the clips from those specific cameras. My group of people here don’t hear the sound either so it’s been difficult to try to mitigate it. Browning trail cams did some investigating for me and says it’s an issue with the RUclips platform and can’t or won’t send me a software upgrade for the cams. Having specific viewer feedback like yours has been a great help.
The video is a little more than half done ( 5:22) when what looks like bigfoot jumps out behind the second tree on the left with a moose still half in the picture. Why has no one else seen that? The thing jumps out behind the tree and right back behind it again. Spooky!
This is amazing love the out doors. Of course i live in South Georgia no 🐻 or moose. But i do see fox and we do have the Eastern Diamondback rattler are very dangerous. Thanks friend for your amazing videos.
@@TheFront40Alaska Oh, thought that was quite a swing. Was all over there in 95 but all coast stops and was overcast and cold but was also early October. Thanks :)
We actually have small moments of 90* + days, especially during fire season. More often up in the interior. It’s a horrible heat because there’s no night to cool you down. But most likely the 90* temps on my cameras are because they are sitting in direct sunlight 24 hours a day during the Summer.
Foxes in Alaska seem to have longer legs then their Southern cousins. I'm guessing it is an adaptation to the deep snow climate.
A sound hypothesis!
BIG SKYE I noticed that as well.
I just could hardly believe the moose said that! I'm going to tune in next week to see what happens. Good drama.
Your large network of trail cams is impressive. I only have 2 out there! Thank you for taking the time to share the videos -- great stuff!
David Greenapple Thanks!! It’s an addictive hobby
I like how the moose strips the leaves off the branches.
They’re very efficient at it
Had to move to Florida from way up north in june....i miss the woods sooooo bad...these videos are saving me..tytyty💙💙💙

How big is a fox's territory ? Doesn't seem to be very big as we see a certain fox going back and forth almost every day . Thank you 😀🇨🇦

Don’t hear it in the raw video. Only after it’s uploaded. Not everyone hears it. Trying some noise filters on future uploads.

I’d rather run into a big brown bear than a rattlesnake. Very happy they’re are no snakes up here! Thanks for watching!
Mr 🦊 likes his picture taken!!!
So weird the fox stops in the same spots almost everytime
Knows where dinner is hiding!
Timeless Me it’s den is close by
Has territorial boundary lines, marks them daily. Wolves do the same I believe.
Guess there is a lake nearby where the pontoon planes are located?
