Janette Armstrong Those are pretty common wounds. The bugs in the swamp are nasty in the summer months. Bugs are gone now and the wounds are usually healed before freeze up.

hopefully when it is cold, the sores on his back legs will heal without the flies bothering him
It’s a very common affliction. Flies will be totally gone in a week or so.. Usually healed up long before the cold temps.
When the wolves move in there will plenty of food for them, tons of moose.
