I have learned that we could use FNU under given name and have my entire name go under surname (format used in DS160). However, while attempting to pay the Visa fee through VFS, I'm not allowed to insert space between my two names that supposedly go under surname (or last name) without the page blocking me from going further. It keeps telling that the record already exists. The main thing is the problem occurs even after you close and start the new application altogether. When I try to enter My son as dependent, the error throws up. His Passport number doesn't showup basically, Only his Name shows up. No possibility of editing or deleting completely and adding newly.. Hello Mam, In the VFS payment portal, the Last name field is not taking any spaces in the names. My last name has a space in between. It throws an error that says "it doesn't accept any special characters" Have you encountered any such scenario?

You can fill a new DS160 form and take both old and new forms on the day of biometric and get it changed.

Hi, I have filled up the form with me as primary H1 and my wife as H4 dependent. Somehow, it asked the Petition Details for H4 along with DS 160 but for H1 it did not. Do you know where can I update the DS 160 for myself ie H1?

Actually, we are in a bit of situation where we applied for b1/b2 visa as family for a supposed holiday and we were waiting for our appointment which is on September of this year. However recently my husband got an internal promotion from his company which will relocate us in the US and we are now required to apply for L1 visa for him and L2 for me and my daughter. My question is can we still use the fees that we paid previously for our b1/b2 visa for applying our new visa appointment.

Hello Mam, In the VFS payment portal, the Last name field is not taking any spaces in the names. My last name has a space in between. It throws an error that says "it doesn't accept any special characters" Have you encountered any such scenario?
