Looking at this I am very intrigued by it perhaps when it reaches release I might give it a shot.

This is great so please, take the time to do it right and be vocal with the community. No dates required. Just keep everyone aware of what's going on. Patience and perseverance will make this game one for the ages.
The graphics are disappointing, even taking the scale into consideration. For a 2021 game I was expecting better. Oh well, it's the gameplay that matters and maybe these are just mock up graphics. Although not sure why they'd brag about "all footage recorded in game engine" if that were the case.
This is it! What we have been waiting for since 1989 when the original Harpoon came out has finally evolved into the ultimate naval simulation with Harpoon's ease of use but much more detailed and realistic. I cannot even tell you how many hours I played the Harpoon series at night for several years.
The biggest problem I see based on this trailer is... single player content. Can you really man the extra stations with either bots or just "assuming other players do their jobs right" style pseudo-bots? It reminds me in ways of Pulsar: The Lost Colony. Which while fun, definitely loses interest when trying to play alone. Multiple stations seems to be a very notable part of whatever experience they are working towards. Whether it be stations or just someone taking over a drone, copter, or even missile. Or just manning the Sonar Station.
It depends on how they set it up. It looks like they took a lot of inspiration from dangerous waters which is very similar. A modern naval sim with multiple stations. In that game, it had clickable menus, AI stations you could turn on and off for individual stations, and voice commands for issuing orders. With all 3, it was fairly easy to make it work.
Carrier Command 2 can be done on your own and there are at least 4 stations that need to be operated in combat. You just need to be more cautious, careful and aware than with a crew. Takes more planning.
