Watching this while sewing my bike bags for my first adventure. Thank you for inspiring and sharing a more realistic perspective on your solo travels! It's not something a lot of people do....
I admire your bravery in choosing campsites. I go by beautiful spots like that one with the picnic tables and am too afraid of getting made to leave by the police or whatever. But then I've pitched my tent in very visible spots (when I've had permission) and as soon as it gets even a little dark my dark gray tent is invisible right in from of me. I should be bolder like you!!!
Moin together, Jesus, I know this selfpunishment when things go south, puh… I feel you there and I think you do so great, really. So many people including me appreciate very much what you do since you do the very best you can all the time. So thanks again!
Great video as always !! Hint - most garden hoses will leech a plastic/pvc taste into the water. Best to remove and bypass the hose. Food grade hoses that are used in boats/campers/RV's use different hose liner materials.
Can't stop watching your biking adventures. They way you edit your video and add dynamic audio clips to keep our attention is an inspiration and education. Keep up the outstanding work while I go looking for the donate button. Cheers!
Je regarde maintenant plusieurs de vos vidéos et j’adore, je fais aussi beaucoup de vélo et j’admire ce que vous faites, grand bravo pour vos voyages et en plus vous êtes très sympathique et agréable ! 👍🙏😀
I'm watching this laying on my couch, eating some fruits thinking of this situation, how comfy i'm and how physically hard moments you are having. But i wish to change places, there will be do nice to go like this, knowing how beatifully it is and challenging same time. You are lucky with this, You know.. Enjoy it and go to Granada 😉👍
Hiya GC, lovely to see and hear you in such a good space mentally. You sound as if your really well and enjoying life. So pleased for you and loving the episodes. Thank you! Stay safe.
I don't know how the inexperienced will react to this video, but as a cyclist myself with loads of experience on the byways of Southern Europe, it all seems very real and relatable to me. Cemetery water, headwinds, truck backwash, a little stream to wash in at the end of a hard day of riding! There's a saying about fishing that a bad day of fishing always is better than a good day at the office. I don't know if that's true, but I do know that a bad day of bicycle touring is always preferred to any day doing almost anything else. Keep doing Cheerio. And keep posting. Some of us depend on your good humor in the face of hardship.. I really don't know why, but it's so.
I will use this sentence as a mantra. " A bad day of cycling is better than a good day in the office". But tbh sometimes I wish I could just sit in an office for a day:D
Always enjoy watch your video's and I appreciate your honesty and openness. As for the cold mornings, Sounds like northern Australia might be calling you.
I now use a CRANKTANK ( Australian company ) it carries 3lt or there is a 4lt version and fits in your frame triangle nice and low down. The thing I use always is a filter in a rubber plastic type crushable bottle and I am trying HYDROPAK filter and the same companies bottle. [ so I could carry around 7 ltrs ] this is far too much but the big bottle let’s me filter a big amount of water into the CRANKTANK Even from taps I filter just incase the change of water in different regions gives me a bug ( very low risk from a tap or fountain ). All the water gets filtered just incase as I don’t want a upset stomach at all.
Great vid loving the route. deffo subscribed to enjoy more of your adventures life long cyclist thanking the weather gods for some great weather here in the UK :)
Hey! Thanks a lot for the videos you make, you inspired me a lot. I would like to know what tipe of bicycle you have? How expensive is it? I would love to go for the same type of adventure that you are doing and I'm thinking of which equipment I will choose. Thanks a lot for your help 😊
Bin gespannt was dich noch erwartet. Gruß Dominik
that was simply wonderful and so inspiring. I'm also so impressed how strong you are, once I rode my bike from Aachen to Brussels for 130 in one day and killed myself😁
I saw u r in Greece atm, try to go to rhodope mountains or nestos river , it s beautiful ! And it s worth it biking through Balkans as well Good luck 🤞🏼
11:30 - “i enjoy where i am without actually knowing where i am at” brilliant philosophy 😊

Thanks for your amazing video and straightforward comments about the "joys" of our biking passion. Andalusia is on my bucket list now.
You know what I like about you, you are real. You are so honest about bike travel. It is refreshing.😊😊😊
I love the way you avoid getting noticed by the general public. You fill your water bottles unnoticed amazing tops to remain safe! ❤️
You've become an inspiration to most of us
I lived in Andalusia as a boy back in the 1970s. It brings back so many fond memories! Thank you!
Great video, can´t wait to see Andalucia myself
Happy you are back

And that water has sat there in the sun, open at one end of the hosepipe...... Straight out the tap for the win.

WoW !! Embalses Guadalhorce is absolutely beautiful. This was a great video to watch and really cheered me up. Keep up the Great Work Giant Cheerio.
Nice to know you are safely traveling with two men In Greece now.
It's the ridiculous details like the face scrub bread that often make longer-lasting memories than names of places! That was hilarious xD
I love your Vibe and honesty Thanks for your inspiring tales.❤ Best wishes from NZ
I just love everything about what you do & how you do it... So inspiring! Be safe & go steady...
I will go on Sunday on my first bikepacking tour and i feel so happy about that

Just a tip, you can use dental cleaning tabs from the pharmacy to clean out your waterbag. Does leave a minthy taste 🫣
Great idea!! I'll definitely try that!

Ja, Wind ist tatsächlich manchmal der Endgegner! Wecker stellen um nachzufüllen wird nicht funktionieren. Manchmal gibt's halt einfach nichts

That tasty facescrub bread...
Somehow it still tastes better than the normal one at home.

hi cheerio nice vidéo, you complain about cold but are you not efraid about the hot summer season that is coming?
I am more than afraid:D
First commenter 🙌🚴 take care Cheerio 🙂
12:52 🤣😅😆😁😂
do you use an app to find info on where to find water?
No I usually search for cemeteries or fountains on google maps
Hallo, ich mag Ihre Videos sehr! Danke! Ich kann leider den SuperThanks Button nicht finden…..
I use the 10 L water bag from Ortlieb
You should change the channels name to giant BAD MOOD Cheerios 😅
I love your videos ❤
Which one is your county ?
I am from Germany:)

Where did you get your beautiful helmet? I have searched all over the internet)))
It is the uvex rise in sand black
@@giantcheerio I understood the name, I can’t find it for sale)) Sites or shops))
👌👍
Pretty cool.
🚴❤️

Yo🚴♀️
Hi Chirio... Can i ask what you 4l shower bag is called 🕺
It is an Ortlieb water bag. Available in 4 and 10 L
Hi Ms gc. Your bike, bags and equipment seems to have evolved cf 12months past an update would be great.
Cheers pc
I am just about to do a set up video!😃
Hello giourgus 😮
Uk
I had blobs of green algae growing inside my water bottle. I put a shot of whiskey in the bottle for 24 hours which killed the algae.
Hahaha and then you drunk the cocktail!!😂😂
@@franmendez2441 no way. I just gave it a good rinse

Fancy going for a ride? We could take the bikes if you'd like.
If that were France, there'd be little bits of used toilet paper lying around everywhere.
Take your necklace and swirl it around your water bottles with a little water to Keep them crud free. Don't drink your necklace 😷
Something tells me your a virgo
