Great decision against sightseeing in Granada. The buildings do not run away. Lifetime does. And thanks for sharing your experience what cycling means to you.
Vertical meters are so hard and some people like to underestimate them if you haven't done a tour like this before. Especially with luggage. I did 3000m from Albania to Greece in two days. That was annoying. You did a great job! Keep going, you're awesome! Nice episode as always!
Great episode ! I like the whole sticker thing you do. Even though you've moved on from the places you've been, in a fun way a piece of you is still there.
So you're not a "city girl", right? I completely understand you. Once I drove over 500 km (by car) to see Granada. When I got there, the traffic was crazy and I couldn't find a place to park. After driving around in stressful circles for two hours, I decided to just turn around and drove the same 500+ km back. Without even setting foot in Granada!😂
What is bike you have there? I have done bike touring, several times, once from Mexico to Chile, and then did some tandem touring. Yet i have never ridden a new bike, always second hand cheap mountain bikes. Now I am planing my next long term and I now have the chance to get something better, knowing now what i need yet is proving to be very difficult to come by a good complete bike that has all I would like and not what i do not need. So how do you go about it? , any suggestions? Thanks!
Hahaha I sooo recognize being a couch potato if not cycling. Even if I am only at 13 days of cycling I already experienced so many similar things. Love it!!❤ Haha and also being hungry and not having anything but noodles but so hungry i could eat a horse or something but then enjoying the noodles so deeply. You really start to appreciate the little things you have and feel blessed with it❤❤ Keep it up! You are awesome!! 😁
How do you pack vegetables and keep them from getting smashed? I've always wanted to cycle with good veggies and more variety of food, but either run out of space or everything bruises. Thanks for the videos!
Hey, I've been looking for your sticker (I know that place), but unfortunately it wasn't there anymore. So, you'll have to come back to Granada some day! 😉😄 Have a good ride!
Good to see the Road to Granada from another perspective. I live in the mountains on the other side of your journey, in the Alpujarras, away from the cities (I know what you mean) in a remote farmhouse, 1,350 Mt ASL. I'm just gonna watch your trip to Italy now. Good luck.
in 1984 we drive from Terremolinos to Granada in rickety, cheap,4 cylender, manual transmission "car" and had a hell of a time getting there.s🤣 So I can relate.
Very good episode. The music was well matched to the video without being obtrusive. Hey! you're getting pretty good at this stuff! Those hilltop views are achingly beautiful. It's taking my mind of this less than beautiful smoky haze outside today. Apparently Quebec is burning to the ground. I feel badly for the people who are close by the fires.
You have so many trademarks that make the viewer feel like a groupie/in the know, the simplicity and consistency of your style/approach is good to see 😊
My RUclips videos are not up to date as it takes quite some time to create them. So tbh I already crossed the Italian boot. Working on that video now 🙌🙂
He has been using the pods for almost 6 months and the pods are pretty handy! He loves them! But for longer trips I'd always recommend to use bags without any zippers because after opening and closing them multiple times for many months zippers can always start getting stuck. But the aeroe stuff is awesome!
How can you ride without eating protein? Eggs, meat, oily fish sardines and mackerel? Eating crap like french fries or cous-cous doesn't get you very far. Your muscles are going to be ruined. I thought when Timo was cooking eggs for lunch you would at least get to eat an omlette? Eggs are probably the most complete nutritious food you can eat. I eat at least 3-4 each day. I was a veggie for 11 years. It ruined my health, my sporting performance, my running and cycling, so I gave it up. I realised I was wrong and gave it up. I am now much stronger, fitter and leaner, and I don't suffer from injury nor fatigue like I used to frequently get. Being veggie is ok for couch potatoes but for people who are highly active, no. Plus a veggie/wegan diet is predominantly carbs and sugar which is awful for maintaining a healthy body. Many veggies end up pre-diabetic or diabetic because they eat so many carbs and sugar.
"a veggie/vegan diet is predominantly carbs and sugar which is awful for maintaining a healthy body." You don't seem to know the difference between the two, let alone what constitutes a healthy vegan or vegetarian diet. No wonder you ruined your health. It's irresponsible of you to claim expertise where you clearly have none.
What a life story you are creating. I love it.... 🙂
You got it exactly right, that's why I love cycling. No thoughts, just you and the bike and the road.

Thanks you so much for showing streets and places of the beautiful Granada, that I don't see so many years ago !!
Glad you enjoyed it:)
@@giantcheerio Yes, a lot !!

Awesome videos as a woman I love it, you are awesome...😊👊❤
Uphill for three days sounds like drag. But when you think of it you will get the benefit of a nice ride downhill for full ten minutes 😂

I keep the veggies inside my frame bag& most of the time they kind of survive the day without getting smashed:D

sorry😔
Always enjoy your videos and whimsical charm GC! You have a great spirt & sense of adventure. Way to keep on keepin' on girl!

Preach. They are still young but will burn themselves out and get extreme adrenal fatigue, among other things.
