    MICHAEL JORDAN WILL ALWAYS BE THE GOAT! That’s his legacy to always be compared to the next great player. I love it, can’t wait to see who the next great player will be so that they’ll compare him to MJ. Oh and records of total stats are for people who play a shit ton of years in the league, has never made anyone the greatest, just ask Peyton Manning. Great players but not the GOATS. That just means you played more years. The fact that MJ’s accomplishments were in only 11 full seasons with the Bulls just blows my mind! Not to mention the style that Jordan played offensively and definitely was just exciting and awesome to watch, endless incredible moves, shots, and incredible defensive plays. He’s just the BOSS, the GOAT, the MEASURING STICK! So lucky to have lived thru his era!

    I literally can't think of one on-ball defender in the NBA today that could hold MJ under 40 ppg, except MAYBE Kawhi Leonard if Jordan was injured or sick. Then again, not even then because Mike always elevated his game on those occassions.

    • @lamefart
      @lamefart 6 лет назад +2

      Did play otherworldly in 2 finals series with injury or when he was sick. First during their first championship against Magic. He had a stubbed toe and on one game he wore a shoe with it's toe, the shoe I mean, was cut and modified to lessen the pressure on his toe but he still changed to regular shoes amidst the pain in the 2nd half. Second, of course, the flu game.
      Oh, I almost forgot, another one when his shooting finger was injured.

    • @mikehammer1777
      @mikehammer1777 5 лет назад +3

      @@lamefart I think you mean the knuckle on his shooting hand index finger was broken at the start of the 1998 season, no tape, no surgery...let's hoop, led the league in scoring and won his 6th ring that year.

    • @lamefart
      @lamefart 5 лет назад +1

      @@mikehammer1777, yeah! The tendinitis vs the Sonics as well. He was wearing a battery-powered muscle stim which looked horrendous in today's standards but was top of the line in 96! Hahaha!
      Well, outside of the finals there's more! When he played PG, he aggravated his groin injury in game 2 of the Knicks series in 89. He injured his groin in March then overexerted in May, specifically in the 2nd game where he sat down in the 2nd half. He just scored 15 points, his lowest in all of his playoffs career... He was angered and ashamed of what happened so the remainder of the 3 consecutive games where they won he dropped at least 40 pts in each game. At least 3 steals as well.. Hahaha
      For reference, game 3:

      YO PAUL you've never actually played structured bball at any level, highschool nor college - I can tell. There's knowing what to do and having presence of mind in the moment to do it. For example, everyone (maybe except you) knows to box out when a shot goes up - how many actually do it? Grow up and express your childish and meager opinion without being vulgar.

    • @yopaul8822
      @yopaul8822 7 лет назад

      meg ur a joke. You are right in sayin that there a lot of players that don't know basic fundamentals. But for you to be arrogant enough to sit behind your key board and say two basketball icons don't have to mental presence to make such a basic decision is just sad. Listen to how former NBA players and kobe/Lebron peers talk about them, I may have been vulgar, but I'd rather be vulgar than a arrogant dumbass

    Some people are going to disrespect the jazz and say that MJ was playing against plumbers and the Jazz weren't that good.
    MJ scored 44 points and made it look effortless. He was also busy on defense, but the Jazz beat the Bulls because they too were a great team!
    The 1997 and 1998 Jazz would've beaten ANY other team in the Championship that didn't have Micheal Jordan on it. I watched the 1997 Jazz team beat Shaq, Hakeem, Clyde Drexler, and Charles Barkley in the playoffs. In 1998, a 34yr old Malone again lead the Jazz over Hakeem, Clyde, Tim Duncan, David Robinson, and Shaq (Kobe was in rookie and sophomore seasons coming off bench).
    Only a fool would say that the Jazz were bums. They easily beat all those guys I mentioned. The only player that didn't win a championship was Charles Barkley, but he led a team to the finals in 1993.

  • @cheezlayer

    It's kinda funny to think that when MJ shoot space jam in 96 bulls was 72-10 with a ring Best team ever in history to achieved such great heights.. Gsw was okay well they got their 73 beating 72 from a soft era but never got to had a ring during that year so basically 72 with a ring means alot more meaningful than a unfulfilled choked 73 win.. Just saying..
    Well bron shooting space jam 2 Loose Angeles Lakers were 31-38? Dropped falling off that He never got to play in the playoffs smh with much much embarrassing moments! Talk about the irony! Lmfao😂😂😂

    Wow this is so weird to see that Utah was still using the old floor design and logo in November 1996 despite having already updated their uniforms, this looks so wrong! I wonder at what point did they actually change it? I do not recall this at all!

    • @sportjames23
      @sportjames23 7 лет назад +1

      I think, IIRC, they changed the court by mid-season. I know the court was changed by the time the playoffs rolled around.

    • @TRJ2241987
      @TRJ2241987 7 лет назад +2

      I went back and found a New York Times article from November 12th, 1996 where the Utah Jazz game against the Spurs had to be cancelled because their new floor had become warped and some of the wood was sticking up as much as 1/8th of an inch. They ended up needing to dig the floor from last season out of storage. Typically old floors are sold off, but luckily for the Jazz they had not gotten around to doing that yet. So that's what happened, they started the season with the new floor, but it was defective.
