Growing up that was the first Finals I recorded every single game from start to finish and I used to watch those tapes over and over and over....Game 4 is the most underrated Finals game of all time probably.
The floor wasn’t delayed they had a new court but it got warped and got ruined because at the time the Jazz shared their arena with a Triple A hockey team and like with all nba teams who share their arenas with a hockey team the basketball court is put on top of the ice. If I remember right I think the crew at the arena forgot to put the protective cover over the ice and by not doing that the court ended up getting warped and it was deemed not safe to play on. So the Jazz ended up having a new court made up. and in the mean time they pulled out their old court to use while the while new court was being built.

I believe this was the game that Michael Jordan was talking about Bryon Russell, in his hall of fame speech. 😂 Michael had said that a year before this game took place (1995), when he was playing baseball, the jazz players visited Michael and played some Basketball. Russell questioned Michael's decision to retire from Basketball, and said he could beat Michael any day! 🤣 I gues Michael took it personal! ha ha It's not in this video, but before the jump ball took place, Michael reminded him about that moment from a year ago, and said "Well you're about to get your chance"! 😁🤣😂

Bryon Russell was not that bright. He should've known not to talk shit to MJ during his retirement acting like he could check him. MJ never forgot that and just embarrassed him each time they played each other after that.
