What's a great, social way to exercise our artistic ability! Drawing, otherwise, is a singular, lonely pastime. You all have my admiration.
What fun! Encouraging. Challenging.
23:27 " A large part of learning to draw is learning how to see". So true. 👌
I am so proud to be Dans’ aunt!
I loved this presentation so much!!
This is very well done. What an interesting group. Have a grandson at Syracuse U. Sent him the video. I’m sure he’ll recognize some of the locations. I dabble in these things myself. Larry Misiak, Houston, TX.
I enjoyed this. I will surely watch again
Would love to see something like this started here in Auburn, NY. Very inspirational!
Hello from an urban sketcher in Pueblo, CO. We meet every week. I loved seeing the architecture there, I especially liked the sketch of the grain silos. I like the small amount of color the artist added to the bird but left the photographers and the surroundings uncolored. I’ve thought about sketching in a cemetery, I may have to try that sometime.
Great inspiration to everybody. Thank you for sharing these.
Hello from southern England. Over the years I’ve seen lots of urban sketchers but you and your group are brilliant. Quality counts and precise line work is such a pleasure to see. Urban sketching is not for me due to lack of confidence so all the more pleasant for me to watch confident observations beautifully represented. Thankyou for sharing and best wishes for 2024.
Marvellous documentary. I watched with rapt attention and was sorry when it was over. Thanks!
Ha! I was looking at the thumbnail and the title below, I thought it was going to say " Keep an I on the ladies!". 😂
Love job peeps!
Great documentary, thanks
I always wish there was a group nearer to me. Almost 2 hours one way, sigh. Love what everyone is doing. So much fun to just get outside and enjoy yourself. thanks for this production.
Oh, man, makes me wish I was back in Syracuse! (Easier now that it's spring!)
So inspiring.
Excellent highly enjoyable video

These are all so lovely! I am practicing painting and your work is inspiring me to do more!
Greetings from a Toronto, Ontario urban sketcher.
Thoroughly enjoyed this video. Very interesting and beautiful art. Thanks for sharing.
Very inspiring. Thank you for sharing! 🙂
Beginner plein air sketcher here, Great idea Dan for suggesting a cemetery !
I'm overcome with curiosity about that bench the lady is sitting on, the memorial to Annemarie....? It looks such a lovely, touching remembrance, and to see it included in this film being used and loved is wonderful.
Great video, thank you for sharing😊
Is there a group in Eastern Washington? Ellensburg? Spokane? Tri Cities?
Is there a chapter in Southern California?
I want to b a part of a group
If we want to start one here, how do we join the national group?
Great piece about urban sketching! Hey Syracuse sketchers, congrats on your group! Btw, here in San Francisco we meet Sat and Sunday EVERY WEEK! so can you! Are you all coming to the symposium in NZ??? It is going to be great!
