They are just so dang adorable at that age!! So curious and playful. Figuring things out for the first time and seeing things for the first time. It's all so cute but then they get older and the coat gets darker and lose a lot of the cutness. They end up just lounging around and spreading cuteness with their own little adorable little ones.
The older daughter that was playing with Spunky ... she absolutely LOVES Spunky 🤣 🤣 she even gave Spunky a little hair pull when she started to walk away and I swear I heard her call him a "sissy la la boy" when she pulled Spunky's hair. 🤣 🤣 🤣 that few seconds of play made my entire day. ✌
They have to join the bachelor troup mostly 3 or4 years. This is in their DNA. They work their way up in ranks. By fighting, confidence, and bossy, then they can try to enter a troup not related. This all to prevent from mating their female family members.

In Nov the temp is normally around 20°c but when the winter monsoon comes between Dec and Feb the temp could drop to single digit overnight. At the time of writing the temp has gone back up to 18 to 20° from below 10° c last week.

There are not fat monkeys, some of them look like if they miss one more meal they are going to die.They need about half of what is fed.SP daily. The females' hind ends are not a large extra lump like Teressa's. And these are pigtails. Thete may be a long tail but I have not seen one.

Have you ever seen an outsider try cozying up to Bossy then or maybe even offering her food to gain favor in the troop? I am not sure i have ever seen a monkey offer food to another monkey even their baby. I guess she could offer grooming to Bossy as a sign of tribute.

It's hereditary I think and those corrugated skin folds sure do look unsightly. There are at least a dozens females with the same condition out there.
