So I have been talking to the dev (springbok) and he is adjusting his connector so you can hook the exputt up independently so you should be able to use it for the Garmin. It's still early on in the testing phase however so it won't be out for a little bit. Cheers
I built my simulator a couple of months ago and did tons of research on which monitor to get. I ultimately bought a used mevo plus off eBay for $900 and it has worked flawlessly for me. It’s another option for those looking for a cheaper launch monitor

I read a post on the Facebook group last night that people are putting the ball closer to the unit for chipping and they said that seemed to work. I haven’t tested it out just passing on some hopefully useful information till they fix it.
Great video as always. Super informative. I have a modified version of Allexx's cam putting which does fisheye and perspective corrections (with a few add ons I wanted, like camera selection, camera parameters like lighting, frame rate). And I'm using a infared camera with built-in IR lighting. With the perspective corrections I feel pretty confident with my HLA numbers and with good green reading, it's pretty effective. I also have an EXPutt 300D model and started looking at it. Based on OCR concept, it should not be that hard to create something like the Allexx putting "connector(?)". I looked at wonderboy99's connector for MLM2PRO with EXPUTT, and it should be pretty easy to build an Allexx like connector for EXPutt. I looked a Springbok's too, but I just don't want to mess with the GUI aspects. My question is do you see a significant lag between the EXPutt action and the response you see in GSPro? Keep up the good work.
Thanks mate that sounds awesome I think someone with your knowledge you could really get it dialed in! When I tested Alex's webcam putting it was actually really really impressive! The lag isn't really that bad tbh! Because the ex putt is hardwired to your computer it's just the software taking a picture of the data so it's slower than say the Uneekor eye mini or GC2 but tbh the skytrak probably has a longer delay! Wow I have Springboks connector and it has never performed as badly as it did for you. It picks up the shot almost immediately. I almost wonder if you restarted the airplay window and connector if it would have resolved itself. You wouldn’t have lost your place in the match so it might have worked. It does beg the question, why pay $3K for a LM when you can have this setup. Hopefully Rapsodo partners with GSPro. If they do, they could own the low end LM market.
Yes it's definitely my set up! I'm doing some troubleshooting with it and it's possible I just had too much stuff running on my computer. Oh mate I've said this since the Garmin!! Why these smaller launch monitors don't partner with GS Pro is beyond me... Like you said if Rapsodo partnered with them or helped springbok with a way of direct connecting then their sales would go through the roof

Hey Terry no you don't need the video capture card for the webcam putting. I have had it working before it's definitely a bit more work to get it going than the exputt. If you can afford the ex putt I would definitely recommend it however you can get the webcam putting working and refined it just takes time and patience. Joe, ive had the mlmpro2 for a bit now I don't have problems with miss reads besides if you completely thin it on the ground, or short chips. Some of them i don't see how yours wasn't catching the shot. What internet speeds do you have and have you tried going wired before on the computer? Great videos though. Any idea if there is going to be a direct connection instead of a 3rd party? Also, have you figured out how to stop the system from catching a shot thats like 120mph on the mlm but when it gets read to gspro is show 1200?
Yeah it's is prone to the odd no read unfortunately. Internet speeds for me are about 30-40mbps down and 15 up so not that great but still more than capable. Yes I have set my laptop up wired before and am thinking of doing it again now that I have my wifi extender into the garage but when I did go wired tbh I didn't really see a difference. I highly doubt there will ever be an official partnership between GS Pro and Rapsodo 😭. I personally can't see it happening.. I know Springbok is doing a lot of work to mitigate these misreads but it's just unfortunately the process in which the data is being captured to be sent into GS Pro.. using a screenshot of the data which because of the mph or rpm writing can sometimes get mixed up or cause misreads. Springbok did actually reach out to Rapsodo and asked if they could move the letters to down the bottom out of the way so the connector would function better but they said no.
Brilliant Joe. Surely when MLM2Pro sorts out the miss reads and the chipping then it will be the real winner overall? That Airplay lag could be resolve with software tweaks too.

That's what made the R10 so amazing was obviously the device but more so the people that made connectors and everyone that helped people get their unit working and really squeezing everything out of the limited hardware. The same thing is now happening with the MLM2PRO!! The best thing is the hardware is a lot more capable from the Rapsodo! Cheers
Hey mate so I got mine from marketplace however when I did get it about a year ago now they were available on golfbox. Unfortunately I dont think this is the case anymore you might have to buy it on the ex putt website and pay the currency conversion.

I don't believe the sky track plus has a connector yet? I could be wrong though. Like all these units, it takes the right person to own one and then be good with computers to create a connector!

Hey mate yes absolutely so this is just the launch monitor set up and then you will use GS Pro as your software so you will have full functionality with the GS Pro software. You can play with up to 8 people I believe.... That will take a long time though 🤣 but yes scrambles, alternate shot, Stableford, stroke play.. the list goes on. Cheers
Unfortunately no 😕 there is no native support to run android on windows yet. You have to connect the Rapsodo to a mobile device at this stage either iOS or Android. You need an iOS device to get access to the free e6 licence with 5 courses and driving ranges.
Damn as a pc gamer that's disappointing but I already ordered the rapsodo on Amazon, I may return it but I never would know if they even plan to port it to PC.... 😕
Another interesting video but you are probably not going to like this review… go back through your round and count how many times you said “didn’t hit that well” and were quite happy with the results thanks to the MLM2pro. Did you forgive the MLM performance because the results were better than you expected? The ball speed thing definitely gets in your head and I get that, it is a huge component of making the right shot especially in competition. Missed reads, waiting for shots to appear, compensating tor short game inadequacies etc. it just all seems like a lot of distraction. Because of the delays the episode was kind of hard to watch, I almost gave up, but I wanted to see the finish. I do agree with your evaluation that the Eye Mini seems to overly punish you on bad swings, especially when the dots are on the clubs. In the end you played better and scored better during the Eye Mini round. I hope Uneekor gets things right so you can stop fooling around with all the tech and enjoy indoor golf all the more
I see what you're saying but being an ex golf pro I am hyper critical when it comes to strike 🤣🤣. I need to get better at not thinking I can still hit it like I used to. The chipping is just bad Rapsodo have acknowledged this which I think is really cool from a company like this.. I'm really hoping it gets better soon. I guess for this video it was more about showing people a realistic experience of what you would get right now using this set up.. keeping it real 🤣. I don't want people to think that getting this set up is going to give you the same experience as getting the eye mini or a GC3... The accuracy (data) in my opinion yes I think the Rapsodo is incredibly accurate. I'll definitely be doing a comparison video and pros and cons of both units. I honestly think the eye mini is going through some growing pains... Just like when the Rapsodo was released it was bad!! Just the eye mini is starting off a lot closer to the mark than the MLM2PRO did.

I think it is great that your channel continues to show all the possibilities available to enjoy indoor golf. In my case, if radar doesn’t fit then photometrics is it & I was happy when the Eye Mini sale price dropped to compete with Bushnell and SkyTrack+. Assuming you keep the Eye Mini I hope you will continue to bring your experience with it to the channel and provide the kind of unbiased assessment only someone with your experience can.

Can I use skytrak+ and exputt in GSPro?
