Another fantastic video they keep getting better and better. Again so much information and you’ve explained it so well.well done mate massive 👍👍from me👍👍
Another good Video, thanks. There are 3 special triangles based on Pythagoras Therom. The most common is 3-4-5; the least common is 5-12-13; but the most useful in my opinion is the one used, 1-1-1.41 (square root of 2). In all cases the "right angle" is opposite the longest side.
Thanks for your input, doing copper gutter. Info was exactly what I needed. Thank you. Try to relax and slow down your info is coming across just fine.
An easy way to find a 45* tangent length is : split in three , keep result one and three and add result one and three . Look complex but it’s really easy . Work on 14’’ and less elbow . Example ; 4’’ elbow 4/2=2 (keep) 2/2=1 1/2=.5 or 1/2’’ (keep) Résultat 1+ résultat 3 = (2 + 1/2) = 2 1/2’’ Tangent length . -------------------- 10’’ 45* elbow tangent length: 10/2 = 5 (keep) 5/2= 2 1/2‘’ 2 1/2‘’ / 2 = 1 1/4’’ (keep) Result 1 + result 3 (5 + 1 1/4’’)= 6 1/4’’ tangent length
Very good! I personally love to watch you give tips on how to square things up, and keeping it that way! I would love to work with and learn from a guy like you for a year. One thing that I really love is learning how to improve efficiency by constructing rigs, and setting yourself up to be productive. Though I've really barely welded on pipes I find it very interesting and fun! I have actually tried tig-welding titanium pipe onto a flange which was very interesting.
Looks like a nice quick way to me with very little learning curve. often ways of doing things need a specific sequence and you have to learn that or muff up your build, this way is simple quick and relies on tooling that either you should have already for welding accurately or its cheap enough to buy for each job. (thats also how I approach working on cars)

Aaaaah the 45,,,,, GOODBYE!I I use without hesitation.

--------------------
10’’ 45* elbow tangent length:
10/2 = 5 (keep)
5/2= 2 1/2‘’
2 1/2‘’ / 2 = 1 1/4’’ (keep)
Result 1 + result 3 (5 + 1 1/4’’)= 6 1/4’’ tangent length
Thanks for the formula
