You my friend are bad ass. You should be making every bit of 150 to 200k a year. This is a job for a fitter and a welder. You doing yourself is ridiculous but at least you have the skills. Hat off to you my friend. Keep doing your thing.
As a welding inspector I am very happy to see a welder with very good technical and practical knowledge. Your welds look really nice and to see such delicate fitting is beutiful. But what I like the most is that you use a mask that provide you with fresh, clean air and a vacuum to avoid the nasty fumes, always health first! (Remember to change filter) Do you know what application your spools are for? Is it for transport of saltwater between ballast tanks in ship or district heating/cooling piping? Love the video!
Im applying for a job where i need to learn pipe welding and this made me understand a whole lot of how i would be working! Great stuff. Thanks for sharing!
Congrats on completing that piece, I could imagine your mind may not of been able to rest the whole time you were making that due to the complexity of it all.
ah im too old to learn this! 59, welding all my working life but no tickets/qualifications and looks like so much to learn to do this commercially! Good to see your skills
Im at school learning to be welder. I just watched alot of your videos, very good quality and inspirational. I was welding pipes with tig and itll be okay have to try this kind of fabrication too Love to weld so far! Maybe half a year left of studies then off to work
@ARC-ONE WELDING I am a professional welder and I am DAMN impressed with your skill SIR Not much else to say but best welding video Ive seen in a long time Excellent job
Hi there i love your fabrication methods and technics I my self weld rollout decks tubs for scissor lifts using fronius 270i welding aluminium tread plate
Wicked looking work youre doing there. I see you use lots of tacks and jigs with counterweights to spin the pipe so you can roll out the welds. Does that ever affect the inspection having tacks here and there on the outside of the pipe. I've seen on some pipe welding videos that they have to cut it out if there are any errant arc marks on the pipe. Just wondering, very nice work!
As a welder its nice to see that im not the only one who has to problem solve your way through a project lol Im not a welder for a living but i do a fair bit in my work as well as personal projects and i once had to weld up a large mag drill stand over my work bench that is sitting in front of a wall.. So if you saw how i managed to do a downhill spray mig (ARC force was my best friend lol ) on the bits that needed welding that faced the wall directly you would of been in stiches my hair was burnt and my whole side of my body ached like fuck for ages after that as i never been so limited on my gun angle on a job like that lol But i admire how you are able to keep something like that all square while keeping within tolerance..
I,m not a welder but out of interest, why did you have to cut a hole for the threaded bar, why not just weld it direct to the pipe? Great video, really enjoyed it .
May I suggest that for the final fit-up you draw on cement floor and use plumbed(for checking too). Great to see you welded the inside of the flange and then out, so many welder do the reverse and don't know it increases fails.
That's crazy if you did that in a single shift. I'm a pressure pipe welder in Canada (Fab shop) and we do things quite differently. It would probably take me the whole 10 hr shift to weld that never mind the fitting. We have pipe fitters too. Do you use the same wire to fill and cap? no bevels either?
Yeah bro it took me a few hrs but it all depends what specs it needs to be welded to, and same wire for everything and when i use the grinder i put the prep on it, it saves me alot of time
Something occurred to me that ive never thought of.... how do you know how to weld the flanges? You would need to know the orientation of the corresponding flange, or is there a set thing like 1 hole always acts as a datum
Never get frustrated! That's the challenge you seek that makes you a better fabricator, the next time you have a similar set up you develop better short cuts! Keep'em guessin! I always say.
Most definitely like and subscribe, it's nice to watch a welding channel not populated by yanks. I know there is different tests you can pass for all different positions, what did you have to pass to be doing what you do?
How long did that take you? You're vids are great and very informative. Keep up the good work. Love to see other sides to the welding trade other than what i do
am back to school for welding and god damn this type of welding is the hardest.i tryed to weld an plate on an pipe all around its so frustrating because its so freaking hard to do it.
Hello, which country are you from? Is there any possibility to provide a training for welding in this way? I want to learn it professionally like you and apply it in my country.
the video is awesome and pretty good explanation can i see the drawings also in between every fitting that would be nice so that i can understand the orientation, elevation and measurement. thats ok if you can't show the drawing but if you can it will be better . Thank you for great videos.❤️
They allow you to put a tack on the inside of the pipe? Thanks for sharing I’m a structural fitter and welder from the USA Just subscribed to your channel
What is with removing or not allowing copper on the filler wire? Can you cite the spec? I've never heard of such a thing, and I'm curious what the intent is.
The uk is changing regulations they say the copper coating thats on the mig wire to lubricant the wire is too harmful for health and will be changing, i dont knw the details just my boss told me
@@ARCONEWELDING I thought that was the case. I looked around trying to find information on it. So far nothing. Surprised California has not done something like that (I'm in the US). Thanks for the response, and keep up the good work!

It was a super complicated alignment, but you did it perfectly the first time. Well done! Your welding instructors should be proud!

Just casually welding a root in pass with mig one handed. Some of you welders are on a whole different level man.
I’ve been a welder and welder/fitter since I was 20 years old. Just turned 35 and I must say you are very talented man. The sky is the limit for you.
I have worked at a Airproducts Chemical plant where your work is used extensively...... amazing video, great 👍 work.
Thank you for sharing.

No idea why I watched this but I really appreciate the work and content. Very clean and well explained

Craftsman. One of the best types of people.

I think it would’ve taken me half a shift to wrap my head around the iso for this spool. Great job.
Nice work, I like how you turn your work with one hand and control your weld with the other.
Thanks man 🙏🏽
Im at school learning to be welder. I just watched alot of your videos, very good quality and inspirational.

Great Work!!!
It will be good to know which segment/industry these pipe spools are supplied.
Great job. What kind of shop time to complete something like this? The magic of editing removes the whole feel for length of time.
It took about 3-4hrs to make and yeah thats the power of edditing
Kompliment, ein sehr guter Job gemacht !
Amazing work as always man! Impressed as heck.
Great video bro. Are you using Lincoln electric ultra core wire? Also known as dual shield. Let me know thanks
Well you have to have some challenging bits to make from time to time to push yourself to the limit 👍👍👍👍
Well done that is a wild arrangement..thanks for sharing.
Well done mate. Keep up the good work.

Something will be connected to that which shares the same system

Don’t discredit your self..
You do excellent work Mate!
Thank you for sharing 👍
Hi, How do you weld the branch to the long pipe in order not to move with heat deformation?
Damn I would have loved to have been your apprentice , u have a spot on demeanour about u bruv
Something occurred to me that ive never thought of.... how do you know how to weld the flanges? You would need to know the orientation of the corresponding flange, or is there a set thing like 1 hole always acts as a datum
Yeah all flanges are 2hole top, so thats a rule everyone follows so when its time to install the pipe everything fits 90° to eachother
Сколько времени нужно чтобы собрать такой сигмент???
Never get frustrated! That's the challenge you seek that makes you a better fabricator, the next time you have a similar set up you develop better short cuts! Keep'em guessin! I always say.
