Great video, I too watched your other videos as well. Short, straight to the point with all the needed details, contains no bs promotions, ads and crap to sift through. Well done! I would pay for content like this.
Amazing how to video for this project! Nice and succinct! Literally every piece of information you need to do this job correctly. I really appreciate you putting together this video! Nicely done, friend! Thank you!
If you did remove the front differential cover what are the bolts torque setting? I know the fill bolt is 24ft lbs but not sure of cover bolt torque or sequence
Great video, thanks. I also watched your videos on the rear and the transfer case. I don't have a fluid vacuum, any reason I couldn't just pull the cover and replace the gasket like you did with the others?
If someone did remove the front differential cover, what would the gasket part # be? I find part # 84428297 when searching online, but I don’t know if that is for the AAM or GM differential.

Thank you for the front and rear diff fluid change video. Funny, I have a GM front diff, and AAM rear diff.
Good stuff, thanks.
Great video! How about making a 21+ tahoe/Yukon rear diff fluid change? There is no video on RUclips for it. Thanks
Is there a reason why you didn't remove the cover?
I have a GM front and a GM rear differential. It looks like they both use the same fluid in that case. Is that correct?
Thx
Why can’t you just back out the cover screws and let the fluid drain out. This way you don’t need to remove the cover.

Thanks for watching. Yeah, if you have the space to get the cover off and get the new gasket in there, that'll definitely work.
@@MasterJacks Great, thanks again. Take care.

I don’t have the fluid extractor, is there a drain plug or do I have to take off the whole cover?
You'll need to remove the cover plate. Make sure you have a new gasket, just in case the old one can't be used.
@MasterJacks would you happen to have the Torque specs for the bolts and plug? i have the GM Corporate SU5 RPO code axle
Front diff cover bolts (x10) are 30 ft lbs ea, and the fill plug is also 30 ft lbs
Any chance you can make the Amazon links open in the Amazon app ? Your link takes me to web browser, to then login , ect. Just a thought. Thx again.
Interesting, I will look into that. Try the links down in the video description.
@@MasterJacks I figured it out. Thanks. Using your links. Great vids
