I love this. My projector is hooked to my mini mac and I don't have to use anything other than adobe. I got a lot of good information from you. Thank you so much.
@@dorothysdaughtersews I hope so. my husband will not let me hang from the ceiling. Today, he tells me he will build me a free arm to hang it from. I am excited to use it.
Ooh how exciting! The projector is the first of a few improvements I have underway in mine. I’m getting a second pegboard, custom cutting mat, etc. it’s my happy place!
Thank you for doing this. I bought my camera before you and still have not opened the box. I did buy the Affinity designer today. Trying get my buddy (my husband) to put it up on the ceiling.
Hi. The issue I am having is that I am needing to set the zoom on my mac very high to get the measurements being projected correctly-- as much as 2000%. I have reset, changed aspect settings , e5c. but cannot figure it out.
I have a miniprojector with keystone correction, and it works very well if the product is aligned with the projection, instead with android 7.1 I can manually correct the image corner by corner, and with this function I can position the miniprojector where I want it is the image is always rectangular or square ... now if anyone knows a way to have this function even with the hdmi cable it would be great!?
You said the top button on ipad to invert click three times. Which button are you clicking 3 times? My ipad has two volume buttons on top power button on side. Could you please clarify? I would really like to be able to do this. Thank you. Using Ipad pro
Thank you so much. I have since learned to do it in Xodo with a click of a button. Got the affinity designer and hoping to learn how to use those flip buttons now. I find your videos helpful so thank you again.
I will be showing some of the methods used to make the adjustments to the digital pattern in the same way that it is done on paper. I alter almost everything for my long torso but short legs frame.
I know little about this new technology, sewing projectors. In your words, how does it compare to traditional paper patterns. Is the electronic pattern a PDF file?
Thank you Kim. I now want to try this
Thank you very much Dorothy.
Your newly made blazer looks nice on you. Fun fabric choice
Thank you!
Thank you Kim for this video. I’m waiting for mine to arrive tomorrow
How fun!
Thank you Kim for sharing and teaching!
Thank you!
I love it and I don't have one. It's going to make life much easier. Good job sharing about the projector.
Thank you!
Fabulous video!!!! Thank you!!!

Thanks Kim, I am soon to be setting up a sewing room and will then buy a projector.

What top button are you clicking three times to invert color on affinity designer? Thank you in advance.
Where did you get the post card that you are holding with the four 1" squares? if you had made it, how did you make it?

Mine is on the top- try whichever is the on/off button.

Oh my gosh. You were right three clicks to the power button. Worked beautifully. Yay Thanks once again.
So how does this work for those of us who have to adjust the original pattern to fit us?
Wondering the same.
I will be showing some of the methods used to make the adjustments to the digital pattern in the same way that it is done on paper. I alter almost everything for my long torso but short legs frame.
See answer above (just wanted to make sure you get a notification.)
Do you know if a Chromebook would work in the place of your ipad?
It would depend on the projector, and I am not really familiar with Choimebooks.
I know little about this new technology, sewing projectors. In your words, how does it compare to traditional paper patterns. Is the electronic pattern a PDF file?
Yes, it is a pdf that is displayed via projector. Most of the pattern companies are now including projector files.
I might have missed it but how do you do alterations on pattern?
We are in the middle of the series. I am going to be covering three methods of doing alterations. The first one will be this coming week.
How do I get the calibration tool to come up in affinity designer?
Do you mean the calibration image? It is a PDF that you can download from the Projectors for Sewing Facebook Group
