I've watched 2 videos and am getting closer to getting a projector. How do you avoid your shadowing getting in the way of cutting. Thanks for posting the video.
Thank you for making this video!
Thank YOU for watching!
Oh thank you sew very much!!!
Thank you, this helped a lot!
Where can we find the calibration grid your using? It appears to be a cleaner version than most others.
Jody found it it in a sewing facebook thats really helpful! facebook.com/groups/ProjectorsForSewing/
My patterns never land decent on the fold like yours. Is that the difference in projectors?
Is your projector an ultra short throw? If yes and it's projecting from the side...then that's why. The image gets a bit distorted because of the way it projects.
Can't I just fold the fabric and cut two sleeves out at once still?
Absolutely! That’s how I prefer to do it. I always make a mistake when I try to flip the fabric or the image. 🤦♀️
I also do this! I just don't cut on the fold.
@@jo2708 I’m happy to cut on the fold too. 🤷♀️ I do see the benefit of cutting flat sometimes but it’s usually more trouble than it’s worth it to me.
I have an ultra short throw that projects from the side. No matter how I place the fabric, it's always a little distorted on the fold, so I prefer cutting on a single layer.
Could you simply shift the image on the computer instead of moving the cutting mat?
Yes but I agree with Jody that it’s easier to move the mat.
