The lyrics are about wanting love from someone who may never give it to you (an angel who can take the pain away) and realizing that love may not ever happen. At least, that’s what I think it means based on what I’ve read. Marko may be the dark angel who keeps it from happening, although I’m not sure about that part. Maybe that last part is just what I want it to be because Marko fits the part of a dark angel so well; just like he’s the perfect Devil in The Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean. :)

If you're looking for something just as good, I think that The Birthday Massacre is really good too, up to you, though.

Man, I wish the other videos wouldn't adjust the pitch for this song on the other videos. Every time they do, it drives me crazy and makes me back out because the music in each of them is sped up slightly. This is the only video that has the pitch set normally, and goes along with my memory that I had for a long time (more or less than a year).
Discovered them recently through Sabaton. (Night wish’s singer and Sabatons drummer are married) I’ve always loved female led rock metal and this is one of the best bands I’ve heard in a while
