Whenever I read the comments on a Nightwish song I often find lots of people praising Tarja's voice. Although she was truly amazing, I feel Toumas doesn't get the recognition he deserves. Most Nightwish songs are exceptionaly well composed. He is the head behind nightwish, since the music, and even most of the lyrics are made by him. Truly an amazing artist!
Im always impressed most by emppu (probably misspelled) and his ability to switch between playing out of his skin and playing sections where you can take a smoke break between chord changes so seamlessly lol
The whole band is amazing in their own way Floor/Tarja/Annette: amazing singers Emmpu: awesome rhythm guitarist and really good leads when they happen Tuomas: amazing keyboardist and composer, probably most important member of the band Marco: one of the most awesome backing vocalists there is and great bassist Jukka/Kai: amazingly technical drumming, the drums are the best part of the greatest show on earth

This reminds me so much of Elinor's feelings for John in the novel "The Anatomy Of Ghosts" by Andrew Taylor. Music often reminds me of characters from books, but this seems particularly accurate with the feelings and personalities of the character.
