I loved Nightwish as a teen. I never stopped liking them, but I havent listened in a long time. Im back at this song and I hope to use it to learn how to write covers. It's kind of helping me process some really shitty life stuff right now, so Im hoping to channel that creatively.
I know the song Dark Passion Play, the namesake of the album, was Tuomos's thoughts of Tarja after she left. Was the entire album deigned that way? It seems that wat, especially here and Eva.
Ever wondered who the Master Passion Greed is? Also check the lyrics of Amaranth. I think the whole album was a therapy for the band, and to reconcile with themselves and the fans.

Yes, it's me jaja por favor, Nightwish sin Tuomas no es Nightwish, el compone todo... si ellos fueran una banda SIN Tuomas, tendrían un sonido supremamente diferente, además Anette cantaba mal y ya había cancelado por lo menos 3 conciertos no podían seguir cancelandolos.
primero, Nightwish es Tuomas, es él la escencia de Nightwish al ser quien escribe las canciones, sin él la banda no sería lo que es, segundo, Tuomas no decidió sacar a Tarja porque si, Tarja de hecho si estaba teniendo actitudes de diva cosa que era fomentada por el esposo, quien le lleno la cabeza con la idea de que sin ella la banda no era nada y por ello merecía mas dinero, Tarja dejo de ir a los ensayos y en regla general no estaba portandose bien con los demas miembros de la banda, por esta razón todos (menos Tarja, obviamente) se reunieron y decidieron echarla, no fue solo Tuomas, él simplemente por ser el lider fue quien dio la cara e informo al mundo de la decision, fue una decision unanime, estuvo bien que hayan publicado la carta al mundo en lugar de comunicarselo primero a ella? no pero no actues como si Tuomas fuera el villano y Tarja la santa paloma, tercero, a Anette no la echaron, ella decidió irse en medio del tour, por problemas de salud? puede ser, nunca se ha distucido el tema de la salida de Anette publicamente pero se sabe que ella estaba teniendo problemas de salud, asi como tambien estaba sufriendo de depresion porque los fans de Tarja no dejaban de atacarla por se su reemplazo, ni Tuomas, ni la banda en general la sacaron, ella los dejo tirados a medio tour por los motivos que fuesen, lo que los obligo a buscar una nueva cantante, Floor, quien cuando se les unió se sabe que era algo provisional, lo que da que pensar que la banda estaba esperando que Anette volviera, cosa que no paso y Floor se quedo como la cantante definitiva. Por gente como tu es que Tuomas casi terminó suicidandose luego de lo de Tarja -.-

Obviamente no me dijo qué había sucedido, simplemente me dijo que había algunas cosas que era mejor no hablar en público, pero la expresión en su cara no era de enojo ni de alguien que estaba esperando que hubiera una reunión. Su expresión era de alguien que había perdido algo, y que estaba tratando de olvidar el pasado.
