Seteth's refine is so funny, he gives almost all of his entire weapon to his allies. Can't wait to build up an army of the funny man and do unholdy amounts of DR.

Been waiting Seteth's refine for a while and wow what a glow-up. The anti cavalry effect being added to his weapon is a cute nod to how the Spear of Assal works in 3Hs too.
I like how typically the first build suggested in these videos is a "budget"/Divine Codes-accessible builds for units, but for Caellach, the first one is literally called "High Investment Build".
Yeah sadly with the refines that are not that great, I don't think going low invest really changes much for them. The low invest options for tanking are not that great.
It's nice to see a good batch of refines. Seteth definitely won the support batch of all-time but Gatrie secret sleeper unit lowkey? I wasn't expecting him to get anything good and yet here we are with him getting something that'll actually hold him for a while in this meta surprisingly
Just an FYI for Dieck section he cannot run Gust with Laguz friend because he has slaying unfortunately you could run a tier 4 dodge skill as it does offer AoE dr he’d actually really like velocity 4 if we were to get it
It may not be a crazy refine, but I'm happy with how L!Claude's refine turned out. As for Seteth, they really went all out with the support from his weapon, and I'm glad they remembered to add Cav Effective dmg.
So one thing I noticed is that this might be the first time where the condition for the extra effect is actually just the same as the base effect What I mean is, sometimes you have weapons that mostly activate on enemy phase (If foe initiates combat or if foe's HP > 75%), then they get another effect for the refine with a different condition (if unit's HP > 25%) But Seteth and Claude's refines here do away with that, both of their weapons are entirely dependent on having an ally within three spaces or simply existing (HP > 25%) respectively
Thanks for going over all of the new weapon refines! My favorites are L!Claude and Seteth and I'm looking forward to using them both with their updated weapons.

Seteth's I really didn't expect to win big from this batch. I thought they would at least just add cav effective dmg with some support for his combat, but the fact he also supports allies is huge, need to build him up ASAP!
Seteth had something to ask of IS: why didn't Spear of Assal come with cavalry effectiveness from the start? In response, he not only got that effect, but a whole lot more than he ever could've expected. It's a crazy supportive refine with the 7 True DR and the Omni Dull effects.
Didnt thought about gatrie being able to use hardy fighter turn 1 on ard. Im actually considering to build him now. But i at least wait unitl the brave banner to see how the meta moves on
Your refine prediction came true for Seteth. Honestly hard to believe they gave a 3-4 lance flier like Seteth such a refine, but we're not complaining. Well, it's time to give my Seteth the Wyvern Rift/Earthwind Boost/BoL4 combo from my Attuned Peony. 👍🏿

I’m really hoping that Seteth will become a HoF unit so I can get the skills for him. I’ve been had him at +10 😭 for Dieck, all I need is Laguz 4, and Breath of Life 4. Also, I was waiting for your video because I felt like a lot of people underestimated how much better Claude is now, and I knew you’d realize that.

Seteth just jumped to the front of my unit building list, as soon as i am done with my current 4 budget build list i will put him and Caelach to the front.

Lowkey i feel that Seteth won the best refine, and it´s not even because the others were crappy (tbf no one had a bad refine on this batch), but the fact that it was a good supportive refine on a demote unit just makes it goated

I feel like Claude might want to run Prime with Emblem Ike and mythic dancer support for the extra status buffs/debuffs. I think for Seteth I'm going to aim for Excel / Wyvern Rift / Breath of Life 4 / Soaring Echo and then the Mastery build for Byleth since I was running AOE on her before due to the speed check being visible speed before combat... Thanks for the vid PM1 very excited to go through my barracks to build up my refine units
I really like how Seteth’s weapon is sort of similar to Flayn in terms of multi-stacking the same unit on one team gives your team DR. It’s a nice tie in.
I was creating combat manuals with Seteth for a while now. As I already have one at +10. Which I plan to give high investment skills to. I hope CYL8 has some good stuff. But last night I free pulled another Seteth and will build him with whatever fodder laying around as a secondary Seteth.
lol I had seteth sitting in my barracks and I foddered him for feathers so I could +10 merge my TIKI army. Also was curious what your thoughts were on a build of hatari Karla now with all these new skills out.

This is a bit late, but I wanted to let you know that Dieck's name is spell wrong in both the title and description of the video I find it a bit funny that there's now 3 axes on GBA mercenaries with tiger in the name, and the best of them was released the longest time ago
I've been eagerly awaiting Claude's refine all year, I'm super happy with it! I basically have the unity king build rn but thinking of switching to flared sparrow. What would you recommend for his X skill? I was thinking Oath, but would Guard be better?

Eh im not convinced summer byleths refine is good. Its ok at best. The atk, spd boost, dr piercing, null guard and true damage is nice. Scowl too i suppose but not really But the dmg reduction makes no sense with her paper thin defenses. The def res boost even less so. The drive dr pierce isnt that useful anyways since these days with ranged nukes you want more than drive distance to have that effect

Sure I might not have a good skills, to Gatrie, but it's merged as +4 and a Weapon Refine makes me so happy! So I am not feeling unimpressed about my choice!

And popular specials like no quarter(mainly popular in cavalry melee , vital Astra for infantry melee), flare for tome units, lethality for dagger and deadeye for bows units. But I want to know what are the best A, B and C skills for each weapon and unit type (for example. Infantry melee, bow, dagger and mage units units. Flying melee, bow and tome units, Armored units) and what special for flying tome units

He can't run any attuned skills due to his Prf Fallen Star II sadly.

I put Panic Smoke 4 on my Claude so he can fully capitalize on his guaranteed debuffs. Sabotage on the foe stacks with Foe Penalty Doubler on himself.

I find it odd that Byleth doesn’t have the drive flat damage reduction and true damage since that’s part of his exclusive skill in 3 houses
I am calling L.nanna to have flat DR piercing as almost everyone has DR piercing now so she might get this to stand out more

Prime skills have kinda fallen off. He would need to run Oath 4 in his slot c and then, he would provide no warp support.
