    Enjoying your videos so my thanks. Bali and most places in Indo can be very cheap to live in. The country has massive amounts of people that make under $10 per day. I live in with the locals on Bali in a guarded/gated community for 1.2 M RPH per month. Two bedroom home with two are of land. Food is cheap. Meals are $2 at warungs and $6 in local restaurants,on average. A retirement kitas is 10 M RPH per year. I lived here for years on less than $24 USD per day and that includes supporting a wife and dozens of animals. If you can deal with poverty,pollution and third world conditions what I spend each month is indicative of what middle class Indonesians spend living on Bali.

      Hi there 👋 Thanks very much for sharing 🙏 We love hearing about people's journey here on Bali. Your breakdown on prices and perspective are great for us to learn more about. The special uniqueness of authentic local living not many people get to experience and it’s great to hear.

    Great video, the quality of your content is going up! Just had a question about how to go about banking out in Bali? Do you pull out cash much for spending or do you use your credit card most of the time & pay the foreign exchange fees & such?

    • @steveandnadia

      Thanks Mat! 😄 We appreciate the feedback. This was such a great question that we’ve decided to do a video on it. We will let you know when it’s posted next week.

    Would love to meet you guys in person if we get a chance! I'll be staying in Ubud from March 18th! I'm an online Brand Designer & Business Coach (also from Australia) and looking to meet more digital nomads too (precisely why I decided to move to Bali)! Been following you guys for a while, you're one of my fav Bali travel RUclipsrs!

      Brenda that would be awesome! Ubud is one of our favourite places to get to so even more of an excuse to venture up there 😃 And making your 'fav RUclipsr list' is also very cool, thanks for the support 🙌

    Do you apply for long term visa first or do you look for a house then apply for visa to Bali?

    • @steveandnadia
      @steveandnadia  8 месяцев назад

      Hey @chuachua-hj9zd There are lots of ways to do it. The visa process does take some time. What we did was apply offshore (in another country) & when approved searched for our long term villa once in Bali. You can check out these videos which will help 👉 bit.ly/stepbysteptofindingtheperfectvilla 👉bit.ly/kitasvisa

    Some Indian rituals in the beginning of the video . Bali borrows religious practices from india

      Hi Ajay 👋 Balinese Hinduism might share some similarities to what you're familiar with. It's amazing connection people here have with Mother Earth & the incredible ceremonies & rituals.

      @@steveandnadia the best part is, people in bali are rooted to culture. Yes, there are similarities between India and bali culture , and India and other sub-continent countries. Every indian subcontinent country that follows Hinduism adopts religious practices from india as the origin of Hinduism is from india . Yes, culturally the way those rituals are performed may vary from place to place.
