Hey Wenit thanks for sharing! Love the tip I will check out Adobe Audition I’ve never used it before. Also we just use a cheap wire mike haha not digital so quite hard to lower background noise but we’re thinking of upgrading! (When budget permits) 🤗🤗🤗
Another stunning, informative and fun video. Thank you! 🌻 I wonder what your opinion is on staying in Bali for a few months as a single female. I am not planning on going with friends either.
as a former solo backpacker across Europe, Bali and Vietnam i think it's a great idea honestly. Caveat is i don't drink or go to nightspots n stay late.... but in Bali it's actually the best expereince as a solo female. People (esp locals) are mostly very respectful but still friendly. It's easy to meet people and make friends if you're inclined. Day time is absolutely safe and comfortable. Travelling single usually means i meet lots of new people here, cos w my hubs around then we're in our own 2 person world. I recommend it. Also i recommend not being too social and taking time to be by yourself, alone but not lonely, maybe exploring your spiritual side in all the nature that Bali offers. It's awesome.
@@JeanVoronkova Oh yes! I am actually very interested in the last bit you mentioned. I would love to travel to beautiful Bali to in a way travel within. I saw your video on Lake Batur, where you mentioned the older you get, the more you realise how much you value this part of life and I am there with you, sis. Bali is such a spiritual place. Thank you so much for your comment and these super helpful videos. They are appreciated. I wish you and Vitaly all the best, and hopefully we might bump into each other somewhere this spring or summer! All the love 🤍
What a wonderful video, with so much info and help for whoever wants to enjoy Bali! I like the last part most, don't sweat over the bargaining too much. After all, we're all here for a holiday and enjoyable time, no need to grind out the hardest bargain!
Yeah… u got it my friend. I do share all these info w good intentions… after all all of us thrifty Asians always enjoy a good bargain n value for money right? But also at the end of the day like most ppl here on holidays are here also because they can afford to be here, n the local locals in the country areas - the relative buying power of one dollar is so different. We hardly buy anything they hawk at us but we do donate to all the vendors trying to sell stuff. And one more thing is all the child beggars at the roads of Bali now. It breaks my heart. We always give. But I also worry that by giving I am maybe keeping them there. But at the end of the day I see these kids are regulars at their stations so I always give n maybe even bring a lil extra for the ones I know hang out where. Any thoughts about this?
@@JeanVoronkova I don't bargain too hard not because I think they're relatively less affluent but everyone selling something sure wouldn't mind having a little good business. But if you study the people carefully, you might start to think they are in many ways richer than us foreigners. Not all of course, there are poor people in every country. But the Balinese are not lavish people that flaunt their wealth. You will see them eat the same food daily, wear the same clothes, sit at the door steps, simple life and conversation. Behind that, many of them have land, property, cars, kids that study in Australia/UK etc. As for child beggars? I think some are genuine but I suspect some are controlled by syndicates. I hardly ever give them money. Usually I get them some nasi bungkus with some meat or give them cornetto hehe.. At least I know they benefit directly.
Good to hear your perspective. Yes I wd prefer to give food as well. Friend of mine keeps packet milk in her car for them. But we don’t always have such stuff w us on our bike. I know what you’re saying, about the syndicates etc, but I think w the pandemic situation last 2 years maybe some of them just don’t have a choice. They’re at the busy junctions and it’s steaming hot n they’re running in between the bikes trying to ask for money or play a little song on a ukelele. I can’t bear it.
But yeah I know what u mean. The Balinese r like the rest of Asians also right - not super ostentatious w the wealth. I don’t judge most of them as being poor. I understand that aspect of life here( I think). But in the rural areas and for the street kids, I feel for them.
@@JeanVoronkova Be careful of giving money to kids and/or beggars when there are police around - I heard in Jakarta & maybe in Bali (not sure) that you might get fined or caught by police. So I agree with other people here, so food or something else is better, but if you want to give money, make sure there’s no police around hiding somewhere 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much for this informative video! Love all your videos! You guys are a very cute couple, so humble! :) I would like to ask if you can recommend a scooter rental company that you have tired and tested in Bali? Thanks so much! And keep those great videos coming. They are much appreciated! :)
Hey Ban! Thanks for the kind words. We use Ketut Bagong rental Car & Bike - u can Google map them they’re located in Canggu but good service n they will send the bike to where ever u r located. Good luck!
Hi Jean, thanks for your beautifully shot and informative videos. You triggered the travel bug in me and I’m planning to visit Bali end of the year. May I know if you have contacts for any reliable car and driver hire?
Great tips. Have enjoyed your videos on yours and Vitaly's take in living in Bali. As a fellow Singaporean who have lived in Sanur, I can totally relate with your views. Good job guys. Om Swatiastu 🙏🏼
Nice nice! R u still around here in Bali? Think V & I still walk a bit of a different path compared to most Singaporeans living here (those we met at Dapur Panda anyway 🤣🤣🤣), but we r surfers at heart n just enjoy nature n simple living I guess. Lovely to meet u!
@@JeanVoronkova nice to meet you too Jean. I'm back in Singapore but am planning yo be back to live in Bali on a semi permanent basis. Loads of things to sort out here in Singapore before I make the move. You are certainly not the typical Singaporean female and that is why your vlog strikes a chord with me. Your love for Bali and the locals and their cultures is something we have in common. Cheers to you and Vitaly your increasing tolerance for sambal 😀
Nice nice, say hello when u guys come back! We can do char kway teow at Dapur Panda’s or smtg more pedas if u like 🤣🤗 we hope to be here more or less permanently too but w the war now things r suddenly a lot more uncertain. Ah well. Take each day as it comes I guess and pray for those poor displaced people :((( good luck w the move!
ooh this is one of the most romantic places i've ever been to, so i definitely support that idea. So many awesome places that are still yet very affordable. U can do couples spa package w sunset n jacuzzi n wine - check out Karma Kandara spa or some others nearby. yay for honeymoon!
I recently moved out of home and I’m looking to start traveling and traveling on a budget this was really hopeful! I’m mostly worried about the cost of food and activities!
Thanks Jean & Vitaly, this video is an in-depth guide for 2022 🙏👌👍 Oh, always wondering how & where to go to rent a monthly scooter from? Can you choose scooter specifically based on gender, if they have one? I know many You Tubers mentions this, but never really tells us where to & how to get one - just a thought 🤗 Hope all is well with Vitaly’s family & relatives back home 🙏
Hi Clara, u can of course choose whichever scooter model you like when U pick one for rent. Lots of girls like the Scoopy/Vespa type scooter where they can sit with both legs together up front, although personally I find them a little harder to maneuver. We used Ketut Bagong Rental Car and Bike - they’re located in Canggu area but they will deliver the bike to you wherever u are. Good service, good bike and insurance included. U can find their contact from Google map
@@JeanVoronkova oh, I didn’t know the Scoopy/Vespa scooter is harder to steer- I simply want a smaller scooter for petite lady where my legs could reach down to the ground for balance instead of hanging down, but good to know you can ask & choose what you want. Thanks a bunch Jean, yes, customer service is simply superb with scooter delivery. I’ll keep the location in mind in Canggu but it’s good to know you can look around depending on where you are located - I’m more keen towards quieter area of Ubud, but beaches in Canggu sounds good, so undecided right now. Thanks Jean 🤗👍👌🙏
No worries! Yeah the scoopy type has lots of girls riding cos it is actually smaller n more sized for girls and also u can wear a skirt n keep your legs together up front which is really nice! Don’t worry about the manoeuvrability I guess u just get used to your bike eventually. Sizing right is more important.

Good luck!
@@JeanVoronkova great! Thanks so much Jean! 🙏🏽
@@bsheni cheers mate
Hi Jean, thanks for your beautifully shot and informative videos. You triggered the travel bug in me and I’m planning to visit Bali end of the year. May I know if you have contacts for any reliable car and driver hire?
Hi! We’ve used Puri Bali Car Rental n we were very happy w the service!
@@JeanVoronkova thanks Jean!
Awesome video!!!
Thanks shakey
Welcome to Bali ~
@@JeanVoronkova thank you Jean, will definitely love to meet up when I'mm back home in Bali.

thank you so much for this video Jean, I am considering visiting Bali in May for my honeymoon
ooh this is one of the most romantic places i've ever been to, so i definitely support that idea. So many awesome places that are still yet very affordable. U can do couples spa package w sunset n jacuzzi n wine - check out Karma Kandara spa or some others nearby. yay for honeymoon!
chilling at Bingin beach is also very romantic for me and affordable. Beautiful. oh and Ubud! u hv to go to Ubud!! super honeymoon spot!

AWESOME BALI... LET’S EXPLORE BALI...
I’VE ALREADY VISITED BALI ON 29 DEC 2021 - 2 JAN 2022.....
🌻🌻🌻
I recently moved out of home and I’m looking to start traveling and traveling on a budget this was really hopeful! I’m mostly worried about the cost of food and activities!
close to CNN standart, proud of you
You’re too kind! 🙏🌻🤗🤗🤗😍😍😍
Keren inimah bro
Makasih! 🙏🌻💕
Sukses slalu sis
Makasih banyak teman and same to you!
Thanks Jean & Vitaly, this video is an in-depth guide for 2022 🙏👌👍 Oh, always wondering how & where to go to rent a monthly scooter from? Can you choose scooter specifically based on gender, if they have one? I know many You Tubers mentions this, but never really tells us where to & how to get one - just a thought 🤗
Hope all is well with Vitaly’s family & relatives back home 🙏
U don’t have to live in Canggu to rent from them- they will bring it to u across most of Bali I think!
I just wanna say you filmed near my house 🤣
Btw i hope you always enjoy traveling around Bali 💜
Haha which part exactly? We love Bali and it’s people they’re the best
Hello Jean I love your channel.
Thanks! That’s v kind 😍
