JKD is a philosophy not a style. Warren happened to stumble upon it. Its basically MMA so it would be the most effective when comparing it to irl. Bruce preached to always change your style to add the useful things and to reject the useless. If he was still alive today he woudlve changed his JKD to something that includes higher levels of grappling and striking instead of his typical wing chun boxing and fencing. W vid tho
