I skate and you can do the exact same thing that the guy is doing on a ripstick but on a skateboard, also you can do grinds on a skateboard, but as on a rip stick It is really hard to grind or should I say impossible to grind because you don’t have trucks! So in skating You can ride around, and do no tricks, but you also Can also do a lot more tricks In skating then a rip stick and you said It looks smoother then a skateboard which is not true, as they are equally the same in smoothness. but if you want to rip stick then do it, you do you. But all I am saying is skating is just as smooth, You can simply ride in a bowl with no tricks, but If you get bored of riding there are a lot more bowl tricks on a skateboard then there is on a ripstick
@@ethancoulter2598 Imo the ripstik is smoother than a skateboard especially in bowls cuz their wheels turn 360 degrees whereas board wheels dont turn at all so you have to kick turn to do a 90° turn. Like with the skateboard you have to take the whole thing off the ground but ripstik you just lean and the wheels turn themselves 🤷♀️

Actually I think RipSurfs are EASIER to do tricks on! We designed them for doing tricks on, unlike the RipStiks, which were not designed with tricks in mind. You should spend a week with a RipSurf and see just how different it is!

The RipStik was the original and the focus when designing it was on the new, strange, 2 wheeled riding experience... not doing tricks. Then, after years of us doing tricks on the RipStiks, we decided to make a board that was designed for doing tricks too, so all of the best ideas we had were integrated into the RipSurf. That's why the RipSurf doesn't bend when you boardslide, why the tail is flat on the underside (so you can index on ledges and coping easier), why the grip bumps run all the way up, why the deck is wider in the middle, etc.). I do agree that possibly kickflips are easier on the RipStik... but then again, I haven't really tried them too much on the RipSurf.

Chris Bar yes you can. Go to a skate store and buy some quality inline skate wheels and make sure they’re the right size because the ripstik brand wheels are notoriously bad quality and more expensive even compared to some better quality skate wheels.

It's like dropping in on shopping cart wheels and then if you have the ripstick like I had with two separate halves, then landing on them can send one ankle one way and the other ankle the exact opposite direction. It's really an ankle braking machine. Perhaps one of the "pro" ripsticks that don't have an axle between the two halves would be better, but as it stands, dropping in on a ripstick can be deadly!! Although I highly recommend riding a bowl on a ripstick!!🤘 it's what's up!! Just please don't drop in lol unless you have a pro Ripstick and are highly trained. I can't believe Ripstick paid for this at some point!! No wonder you don't see these videos anymore.

Eu comprei em loja física, procurei uma loja de patins em minha cidade, mas em algumas lojas de skate tb tem, acho loja física melhor pois la vc pode testar pra ver se a roda encaixa no seu skate. (Recomendo pegar uma roda de 80mm) Ah, o meu ripstik é o mesmo modelo do vídeo (Ripstik Air)

It's called a bowl in skating and also this bowl was made for people to skate so it's not used for swimming hence it's not a swimming pool
