@@60Cascade What do you think made the Everly Brothers world famous? It's two things - good songs and their unique vocal sound. Nobody could duplicate it.
@@keithammleter3824 You're spot on brother, and it's on full display here. Along with Mr. Ford who by the way is also known for some good songs and unique vocal sound. Is this performance as good as a studio recording? No, but it's fun to see your music idols together in a TV show performance like this.
@@60Cascade I enjoy the Everly Brothers and i also enjoy Ernie Ford's recordings. But not together - it doesn't work. It is, however, usually fun to see different genre stars perform together. On RUclips is an old film of Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley together - they work together surprisingly well. Sinatra, who famously said he doesn't dig rock and roll, did an Elvis song very well. Elvis, of course, could do anything well.
One baritone away from a phenomenal barbershop quartet.
This is a clearer version of the one that's been around for awhile, thanks.
This is what is great about variety shows in the fifties and sixties and seventies, putting together singing greats .
That was fun! Thanks guys! 🙋❤
RIP ernie Phil and Don Amen 💔
Them Everly bros got Great hair...sing well too !
They really looked like twins.
This completely ruined the Everly Brothers' unique vocal sound and made it seem tired.
I'm sorry for your blindness.

@@keithammleter3824 It's all a matter of opinion and personal preference. I think this is a great clip and works very well.
