This was an excellent skit, and like others i had no idea Ernie could play the piano. The glittery jacket on him was a funny touch too, to match Liberace who was famous for such costumes.
Never knew Ernie played piano! I sang backup with him at a 49'er football playoff game in 1971. He was the sweetest man! We sang Put your Hand in the Hand.
Real talent! Everyone could watch and everyone enjoyed it together. These shows inspired people to sing, play and have fun. Our kids and grandkids really missed out!
What a treat! I was grinning the whole way through this skit. I knew Tennessee Ernie Ford’s name but have never seen him that I recall. Liberace I was more familiar with, but this was fabulous.
