My mom's cousin opened for Liberace in Vegas. (she was a comic). Her aunt & uncle decided to go out and see her & the other shows and stayed a full week, As a lot of people do, they charged everything (meals, drinks, gifts, chips, shows, etc) to their room key. When they went to settle up they were told they had no bill, Mr. Liberace said to put it all on his tab.

Had the privilege of seeing Liberace 3 times. Mr. Showmanship. Love Rat Pack. All so talented. No one like them.

Such fun family entertainment, remember my dad laughing at TEFord farm humour. Always a relaxed show.

What a treat! I was grinning the whole way through this skit. I knew Tennessee Ernie Ford’s name but have never seen him that I recall. Liberace I was more familiar with, but this was fabulous. What an easy humor Mr. Ford has and Liberace was right there with him. Gosh those days seem so wholesome don’t they? Wish we could get back to that rather than the muck we are surrounded with today. And of course the talent on that stage is off the charts!

Liberace was my homie. I met him early 70s in the Boulevard Mall, Broadway Furniture Dept. My wife was frying when I walked up and introduced us. We chatted about home and we went our separate ways. He was quite a guy, class act.
