“Protect our jungles” would be epic with Paul, Lex and Shane Gillis.
Nah not Shane.
I think if Shane was serious during it yeah it could be good but comedy isn’t needed when talking about this stuff. It’s sad. It’s supposed to hurt to look at not be made into something to laugh at and find humour in.
The jungle stinks, uncontacted tribes are gay, why is anyone going there?
-Shane Gillis

@stonerman4206 your life must be miserable. When my mom passed, the entire family was being sad because you are suppoaed to. I got up and walked over to mom and started rooting around her like I was looking for something. Dad came over asking what I was doing and I loudly said "I'm looking for a charger cord and mom doesn't need hers anymore". People laughed. The rest of the day was a lot brighter. Stop being a bitch.

Joe should try to find someone who specializes in Phytochemistry. Have them explain Roundup and other herbicides/pesticides. Like why do we use these chemicals in specific? What are their modes of action in the target organisms and collateral targets?
In short, we use hormone-mimicking compounds to block plant biochemistry. It would be cool to see Joe get a deep dive on this topic fr
I bet all that shit leaching into our water supply does really great things to our health. FML
The correct way to think about it is that they chose those chemicals specifically because they cause cancer, it's got nothing to do with being better herbicides.

15:11 this is beautiful
Joe should have on a forester to talk about the timber products industry. There are a lot of misconceptions surrounding how bad paper products are and where they come from. Forestry is a surprisingly interesting topic, and in many ways the industry is actually very sustainable. As an example, well-managed paper plants produce their own energy and recycle many of the chemicals used in the paper-making process. Tree stands as well can be grown faster than many people think and with minimal fertilizer, and timber companies do a lot more to minimize their ecological impact than companies in agriculture. People buy Ipads and laptops to take notes and "save paper," but it would take more paper than you could ever use to do more damage to the environment than your tablet did.
